It's five o'clock somewhere!

It was easy to find the Drunken Dragon Tavern, due to the train, and the fact that a good portion of the crew was familiar with the establishment and could point the way. Kang knew that there were a few already planning on stopping by, and that Kaylee could use the help. He also wanted to get more information on the new people, see who was likely to cause problems (Farseer Ildraniath already had) and who wasn't. There were a few he hoped would show up, as well.

Feeling a little happier than usual, despite the Farseer, he took care of business as usual, being sociable and refilling drinks.

[Open post is very open. Feel free to talk to either Kang or Kaylee, or both, or to threadjack (with permission, of course)!]

"But Med Bay is huge!" she protested. "Room for thousands of wounded or sick. If the prisoners are in stasis, you don't need to guard them. If they're being put on trial, you would let them out one at a time to be tried - not all at once, I hope. So - either the Med Bay was added by the Daligig, or there's some other reason why a prison would need that many sick beds." A pause. "Probably not a good reason. At all."

"Or it was a prison where the prisoners were supposed to pay restitution by military service. Let them out one by one, try and convict them, put them back into stasis - and then fly them to the next battlefield. Med Bay would be to patch them up between battles. An instant army, on call throughout the Multiverse."

She hmm'd. "That system may have been modified by the Daligig as well - fifteen Violations before Punishment gives an awful lot of leeway for hurting other people. Of course there's probably things that get you Violations that we haven't even uncovered yet."

She raised her glass in a pseudo-toast. "My sympathies in advance to whoever does find them."
