It's five o'clock somewhere!

It was easy to find the Drunken Dragon Tavern, due to the train, and the fact that a good portion of the crew was familiar with the establishment and could point the way. Kang knew that there were a few already planning on stopping by, and that Kaylee could use the help. He also wanted to get more information on the new people, see who was likely to cause problems (Farseer Ildraniath already had) and who wasn't. There were a few he hoped would show up, as well.

Feeling a little happier than usual, despite the Farseer, he took care of business as usual, being sociable and refilling drinks.

"Yep, pretty much. And the same two tribes have been fighting over leadership and doing things one way for centuries and centuries. No matter which was stronger, they did things one basic way, just one of them did it a little sneakier. When the enemy changed its tactics, they couldn't change to meet it."

"And thus it was harder than it needed to be and shifted the tide of battle in favor of the enemy." She said to no one in particular, more remembering events she'd witnessed than anything.

"Yep, you got it. So when we had to, we took their assignments, and did things the hard way, and were just bad ass enough to do it. The rest of the time, we followed Kain, and got shit done."

She giggled a bit, "Well I'm glad someone had some sense to do things as they should be done. It also puts me at ease that at least some competent people came from the latest pop and not all were 'self proclaimed lords of evil' in the middle of a ship full of heroes..." She facepalmed and laughed.

"Nothing against the dude but... man was that not the right thing to do here."

"Let's see, the fire chick... who was kinda cute in an utterly psycho way, the red guy who hates that Billy person... yeah, some less than ideal choices. But Nima is a solid addition. The green dude moves like he has some military experience, couple other hot chicks, which there can never be too many of. Could be worse."

"Of course, hot chicks are always a must in a situation such as this." She teased laughing a bit. He certainly reminded her of a couple of her family members, specifically the boys.

"And you're right, it could always be worse."

"Hot green chicks included." he agrees, with a wink, glad to see that she's not only not stuttering, but teasing back. Good sign - if it holds up.

She blushed, "I'm sure there's some of those around, jus' gotta find em!" She retorted, of course he'd have to find em, cause she certainly wasn't one~ she didn't think.

He raises his cup. "Huh, funny. I'm sharing a drink with one. Lucky me."

She grinned back at him, raising her water and tilting it in response. "Huh. Someone must have taken my invisibility device, cause I don' see em." She stuck her tongue out at him playfully.

Yep, she's even more fun when she talks back. He eyes the stuck out tongue. "Don't point that thing at me unless you plan to use it."

She raised a brow in response, "First, you'd have to catch me. Second, you'd have to overpower me." She grinned, "And I'm a helluva lot stronger than I look, I can assure you that." She teased.

"Y'know, if it weren't for the fact you already got a boyfriend, I'd say that sounds an awful lot like a challenge." he teases back.

"It was a challenge." She grinned. "Tho you're right, I should really behave, specially when things aren't still sure about the difference in lifestyles. But like I said, that's more than fine with me." She smiled sweetly.

"I have a long history of bad behavior." One can almost see the expenditure of willpower to stay on one side of a line in the sand. "I shouldn't be taking someone else's girlfriend up on that kind of challenge... tempting as it is, seeing as I'm stronger than I look too... but y'know, if you get that sorted out, I'd love to see how that challenge went."

She laughed a bit, "That's very noble of you and much appreciated. I'm sure we'll have more than a couple of challenges ahead of us to test each other out... and I don't m-mean in the bedroom!" she added hastily, catching her own train of thoughts with an embarrassed laugh.

"Hey, if he turns out to not be the jealous type, I'm all for challenges in the bedroom. You know, unless you prefer, say, the kitchen, or the living room. I'm flexible like that."

Yeah, stop that! She thought as her face continued to redden much to her embarrassment. Even when she was being playful and sure of herself, thoughts of that kind always made her flustered considering she was still very new at the whole thing.

Anytime she tried opening her mouth for a witty retort, she closed it again unable to come up with something. And as such she just looked down a bit embarrassed.

Awww, and she was doing so well.

"You know, you might be even cuter when you blush. If its going to come up though, y'know, you ought to talk to that boy of yours, and figure out what the rules are. Til then, I'll just say he's lucky to have found such a hot chick. Let me know when you come up with the retort too. I'm dying to hear this one."

Ronnae huffed, blowing some of the hair from her face, still looking mighty embarrassed.

"Sorry, Ronnae's brain apparently f-fried, so you'll h-have to wait for that retort at a l-later time." She joked back, trying to get back her bearings.

She stood from her chair and stretched, looking at her omnicomm and letting out a surprised gasp. "Shi-" She stopped herself before cursing and took a breath. "I... S-sorry I have to head out. B-but it was a real pleasure speaking to you again C-chase. I'd l-like a repeat maybe." She smiled sweetly, taking a bow.

"It was fun, I'll talk to you again soon, gorgeous. Good luck with whatever it is."

She blushed and waved goodbye as she pulled her book to her chest and hurried off.

"T-thanks! Bye~" She called after as she left.
