It's five o'clock somewhere!

It was easy to find the Drunken Dragon Tavern, due to the train, and the fact that a good portion of the crew was familiar with the establishment and could point the way. Kang knew that there were a few already planning on stopping by, and that Kaylee could use the help. He also wanted to get more information on the new people, see who was likely to cause problems (Farseer Ildraniath already had) and who wasn't. There were a few he hoped would show up, as well.

Feeling a little happier than usual, despite the Farseer, he took care of business as usual, being sociable and refilling drinks.

[Open post is very open. Feel free to talk to either Kang or Kaylee, or both, or to threadjack (with permission, of course)!]

Bight nodded, that would certainly explain that then, "Trying to destroy what they cannot control, for the threat you may pose to them at a later date, how true that was," He commented, half to himself, indeed after all the arrival of Kang's forces at Sanction's from what he had heard had helped turn the tides against the Dark Knights. Though an event well after the time this Kang was taken. Eight to one, "Even goblins can be dangerous in such numbers," He noted, to ground forces at least.

Bight nodded at that, hobgoblins wouldn't have helped matters in the least. A fake dragon? That would explain the dragon on the roof then, and the mural, "Quite the ingenious plan, such a sight no doubt struck fear into goblins with an accurate enough illusion, before it detonated no doubt," He was curious though, how one of the girls, still rather young at that point no doubt had made an illusion of a gold dragon. If the mural was anything it had seemed the illusion had been rather accurate, barring artistic license that was. "I'm curious, had you and your girls come across such a gold dragon before?" He asked in an off hand and seemingly harmless manner as he nodded toward the mural in reference to the illusion.

That much was understandable, after all a number of gold dragons had joined the Whitestone forces during the war of the Lance, far from as many as the other metallic dragons but enough. His eyebrows rose a bit in interest at that particular piece of information, his expression that little bit more somber, "Oh?" He replied with interest, but in such a way that Kang could drop that particular topic, "That would explain the accuracy of the illusion then," he went on to give a nod and a long sip of the ale.

Even as he'd replied, Bight peered briefly upon Kang's thoughts in an attempt to discern just what he didn't want to explain, dreams? Dreams of what he wondered, of the dragon's they had come from or the dragon they could have been? Or something else entirely? Drawing his thoughts back he gave a nod to Kang's reply, "Indeed? Having what looks to be a gold dragon flying over then exploding within the ranks I would imagine would have quite the effect on Goblin morale.

Bight nodded at that, a grin given in return, "After that, I doubt the goblins stood a chance, indeed and Teyr yet stands in my day," He commented wryly. Though inwardly his thoughts were much more somber than any outward signs, drifting over that particular morsel of information he had gleaned from that minor invasion.

"The final battle of the War of Souls took place in Sanction four years ago, in 421ac," He replied after a moment of thought, his expression a bit darker at the mention of the war, "What did he tell you of the war? Perhaps I could fill in what he missed," Bar the part about him being a bronze dragon that is.

Bight nodded thoughtfully at what Kang had been told, a accurate if brief summary of what had happened, "Indeed, Takhisis stole Krynn away at the end of the Chaos War, hiding the world from the gods and in doing so allowing dragons from another world to find Krynn, no doubt you already know of the beginnings of the dragon purge in your time," His expression dark as he recounted the happenings between Kang's time and his own, those events that would have been relevant to Kang in any event. Up to and including the assistance Kang's forces had provided in that final battle, as well as how Takhisis had been able to be killed due to Paladine apparently giving up his godhood. His description of the events right to the point of things, Though he left out any mention of his absence during the battle itself.

Once Bight had finished the recounting he took another long drink of his own Ale, nodding thoughtfully at Kang's response, "Indeed, it would seem that the arrival of your forces in Sanction hastened the Knight's defeat," He commented, it would seem that survival of his city owed in some part to the arrival Kang's army, an army of Draconians no less.

"An error they would not soon repeat I would wager, though one that has no doubt cost them greatly,"

"Indeed, such are their ways for the most part," Bight shook his head at that before the slightest tilt of his head at the mention of a dark knight with honor, "The knight that alerted you to the truth?"
