It's five o'clock somewhere!

It was easy to find the Drunken Dragon Tavern, due to the train, and the fact that a good portion of the crew was familiar with the establishment and could point the way. Kang knew that there were a few already planning on stopping by, and that Kaylee could use the help. He also wanted to get more information on the new people, see who was likely to cause problems (Farseer Ildraniath already had) and who wasn't. There were a few he hoped would show up, as well.

Feeling a little happier than usual, despite the Farseer, he took care of business as usual, being sociable and refilling drinks.

[Open post is very open. Feel free to talk to either Kang or Kaylee, or both, or to threadjack (with permission, of course)!]

A familiar face, at least. This meant Yzak made his way over to Cagalli when he saw Kang was busy with the others.

"Hey," he said, looking at the wood of the bartop.

Looking down? Okay, that's good. Who needs eye contact. "What brings you here?" Not that it isn't kind of obvious what anyone comes here for.

"Are you here with anyone?" he asked, glancing around - but nobody else nearby seemed to speak up as if they were in her company prior to his arrival.

She gave a dry chuckle. No Athrun to drag along, and she couldn't even imagine Kira or Lacus at a bar. Allenby didn't seem like the sort. "Nope. Just me, Chief Representative of Orb, going to a bar alone."

That sounded...

Well. That sounded like she at least knew what happened to Athrun. So Yzak didn't feel very encouraged to press her much about it (not like he was very good at that anyway). Sadly, he also wasn't very good on comfort aside from his own awkward way of doing it. But for now, he leaned on the bar instead of sitting down right away. Not that he figured Cagalli to be the type to tell somebody to go away - if you wanted to be alone, you wouldn't be in a place like this.

"I didn't think you came to places like this."

She shrugged. It's not like she expected any kind of comfort from Yzak of all people, so she mostly just awkwardly sat there, wondering what she was even doing here, if she should just leave.

That'd be kind odd now though. "I don't, normally," she responded simply.
