It's five o'clock somewhere!
It was easy to find the Drunken Dragon Tavern, due to the train, and the fact that a good portion of the crew was familiar with the establishment and could point the way. Kang knew that there were a few already planning on stopping by, and that Kaylee could use the help. He also wanted to get more information on the new people, see who was likely to cause problems (Farseer Ildraniath already had) and who wasn't. There were a few he hoped would show up, as well.
Feeling a little happier than usual, despite the Farseer, he took care of business as usual, being sociable and refilling drinks.
[Open post is very open. Feel free to talk to either Kang or Kaylee, or both, or to threadjack (with permission, of course)!]

He could only imagine what an entire nation of dragon-people must be like.
"I'm originally from Ferelden, myself, before I moved to Kirkwall. We're known for our dogs, our bland food, and the color brown."
Everything was brown in Ferelden. Everything.

Gamlen was a bit of a black sheep, unfortunately.
"Kirkwall always has something going on. It's like it can't go a couple years without some kind of crisis. Still, it's a good place for a fresh start."

He laughed wryly, "I know how that goes. I was the Lord-Governor of Teyr, and there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't have something to deal with. The joys of running a nation."

It wasn't particularly pretty, and it took a good while for things to ever return to normal. Still, Hawke had been well enough situated in Kirkwall after everything ended that he decided not to return.
"You know, you're the second governor I've met here. What was the other one's name? Bight, I think?"

He perked up a bit, "He's from my world, actually. From Sanction. I already talked to him; it wasn't the way I ever imagined I'd meet him."

"Is he a big name in your world, then? He seemed rather personable to me."

Nodding, he smiled a bit, "He's rather well-known. I was a little worried about his reaction to seeing one of my kind, but he's alright so far. It's not the same as having someone from Teyr around, or my family, but it's still somewhat nice not being the only one from Krynn awake."

Wryly, "You'll have to get used to surreal and strange things here. You'll get it in spades."
