Gone fishing [Open]
It was, all things considered, a pretty good day. Sokka had decided to take the day off and spend the day doing something he loved: fishing. He wasn't sure if there were actually any fish in the river that ran through the city now, but that wasn't really the point. The point was that he had a body of water and a stick with a piece of line that was baited with a worm. He was happy to sit beneath the artificial sun, hat pulled over his eyes and stick held easily in his hands as he idled the day away. True, he could have done this in the Sensoriums but that wouldn't be the same. Real water was just more satisfying. And maybe he'd go for a swim later.
All in all it was shaping up to be a pretty good day.

"Um, is there something I can for you?"

"Why don't you ask Aang? He's on board and he'd be happy to tell you about himself, I'm sure. Katara knows all about him, too."

"She doesn't need you to protect her. She's strong and more than capable of handling herself. I'm protective of my little sister, too, you know. I'm also protective of my little brother. So I don't go blabbing about him to everyone who asks," he pauses and rubs his chin.
"And really, if you feel that busted up about talking to Aang about Aang, one of the most truthy, calm, gentle, and loving people I know? Maybe you shouldn't be dealing with this issue."

She laughed. "There isn't a more perfect scene to fit you! A man and a fishing pole, fishing in empty waters."

"Like I said, if you want to know about Aang, ask Aang. He's happy to tell you about himself." He wrinkled his nose, eying Nura.
"And don't be down on fishing. It's a great and ancient tradition of my people. Even with no fish. Helps you think and clear your head."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"Seriously."

"And she's my sister. I don't agree with everything she's done or what this place is doing to her, but she's still my sister. I love her and that's pretty much all there is to it, so I don't appreciate a stranger like you butting into my family and acting like you know all about what's happening with us. You're not my sister no matter what you think you are to Katara. My suggestion? Stay out of it. Aang and Katara can both take care of themselves without help from you."

"Oh, and by the way." She swooped down and snatched up the fishing rod and cast the line in. She lowered herself to ground and seated herself tailor style. "You're scaring the fish."

"And that's okay. I have. . .a thing to do. Yeah. Somewhere else."
