Gone fishing [Open]

It was, all things considered, a pretty good day. Sokka had decided to take the day off and spend the day doing something he loved: fishing. He wasn't sure if there were actually any fish in the river that ran through the city now, but that wasn't really the point. The point was that he had a body of water and a stick with a piece of line that was baited with a worm. He was happy to sit beneath the artificial sun, hat pulled over his eyes and stick held easily in his hands as he idled the day away. True, he could have done this in the Sensoriums but that wouldn't be the same. Real water was just more satisfying. And maybe he'd go for a swim later.

All in all it was shaping up to be a pretty good day.

"...and get shoved into the water."

Nura beamed like the cat who caught the canary. "Nothin. You just looked too serious."

"Who said that I'd push you into the river? Don't put words into my mouth, kid. All I've asked is that you tell me a little about Aang, and that can anything from his full name to his favorite hobby. Second. Yes. Katara is my little sister. She's the closest person I have to a sister on this ship. She's your sister by blood, fine. But I think you have some issues with her changing." Nura narrowed her eyes at him.

"I'm trying to understand Katara better. You seem to think you know what's going on in my head. That's nice. Really kind of you to put more words in my mouth. Getting into Katara's situation with Aang would be wrong, not to mention, would betray Katara. Yes, I don't know everything about what is happening with your family, and I'm not going to butt in and do anything. That's your deal. And here, I'm dropping the Aang topic. Done." She stood up as well, annoyed.

"Oh, and by the way." She swooped down and snatched up the fishing rod and cast the line in. She lowered herself to ground and seated herself tailor style. "You're scaring the fish."
