Where we Stand (The Outsider's training Post)
[I wanna bendy time this to two days after the announcement, so it won't seem too random.]
She felt guilty that she had taken this long. They had met several weeks ago, and she had made a promise to get to training as soon as she could. Sadly, things came up that had forced her to take some time for herself: she was in a better place now, and it was time to get back to business. uh
When it came down to it, the marriage planet had been good for couples, but her interest was with what happened with the people who hadn't participated. Once again, there was an attack, and when it happened, despite them being strong, capable people, it regressed to arguments and pointless infighting, and this was a problem. Then of course there was the idea of how to compliment one fighting style and another. After thought, the best thing to do seemed to have all the guys come here, show what they could do, and start organizing training that way, get some input, trade different information, relay tactics. It would be unorganized for this meeting alone, but afterward they could start and tailor the training to their strengths, add in situations that played on their weaker points for good measure.
This would be a good way to get other people talking, really start to learn about how they fought and where they came from. The Sensorium would be blank for now: she figured Beastboy should be the one to add a little flair to their surroundings.
She did have to compose herself a little though: she hadn't been happy to hear Tavros was gone. He had been a nice person, and he was Alex's roommate.

But for now he was focused on helping anyone who wanted to train and get stronger.

"Hi Beastboy!" She said. "What have you been up to?"

"I HEARD THE WORDS TRAINING!" (She had read the words training, you see, but don't tell her that. She's a very delicate and special woman). Doing a quick few mock karate chops she looked around excitedly at the assembled crowd.
"Oh wow I don't know her. I know her. I remember him. Oh man he's there." They had names. She just forgot most of them. "Training! Training! It's going to be so much fun, tee hee hee!"

"Hi Lash, good to see you again! There are names by the door, in case you wanted to see the names of the people here! But yes, we are going to start training in a ew minutes. I was hoping people could get settle in for the moment, get to introduce themselves to each other before we got started with the session. I have to wait for one more person for it to start anyway!"

Coming up from behind on Katara, Nura smirked at the easy scare, as she took a running start and wrapped her arms around Katara's middle, saying loudly, "How is my favorite waterbender!"

She actually was mimicking her hairstyle! It not only looked really good on her, the other clothes were a breath of fresh air from the usual plant suits they all wore. Katara had always really liked the ensemble Nura put on.
And it looked as if it were rubbing off a little: Katara was in her water tribe clothing, necklace and all, but with an added accessory. Atop her head she had a pair of goggles.
She had enjoyed Scott Pilgrim, and though Ramona's style was nifty.

"I apologize for my tardiness," she said in a rush, swooping down on unsuspecting victims and offering hugs. "I was preparing your gifts for today and failed to watch the time as closely as I should have."
no subject
"Hey Starfire!" She said. "I haven't see you since that craziness outside the city on that planet! How have you been?"

She popped in, taking a look at a few of the people, feeling fairly comfortable when it came to the Sensorium.
Pre-Training
Katara got up with Beastboy, clearing her throat.
"Ok, this is going to be fairly simple: to see how we work as a team and individually, Overlord Zetta is going to run a simulation for an objective we have to make. We're hoping to use what happens here as a framework for the next time we attempt to do this kind of training exercise. I know I usually make a big speech and all, but this time we'll save that for after, and then, when we're all done, why don't we see how we want to unwind afterward?"
She could plan a whole itinerary for the next meeting: this one was for fun and for gathering information.
BEHOLD THE GLORY OF YOUR OVERLORD TRAINER
"Outsiders!" the Overlord bellowed, his voice amplified by the chamber. "Cower in AWE before the training of the Overlord!! Hyaaa ha ha ha ha ha!"
((Free-for-all posting, no order or rules! We'll keep it moving!))
Re: BEHOLD THE GLORY OF YOUR OVERLORD TRAINER
Well, if anything, Overlord Zetta had presentation. No one could deny that.
"You heard him guys! Let's go!"
