Not everybody wanted to go to the consummation huts straight off the bat. Which meant if they wanted to get cleaned up, they needed another spot to do so in.

Luckily, the city had just such a place: the great public baths. They were rather immense. And open, since the Moai didn't have much in the way of nudity taboos. There were private stalls around the edges, though, for those who weren't quite so open. Or just wanted to do a little 'private' bathing (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more). It's traditional for the baths to take a while. After all, pretty much everybody here has just gotten married! Enjoy!

(Oh. And your clothes are going to disappear. Nothing personal, the Rapa Nui just want to make sure you have something clean and dry to change into when you've bathed. Isn't that nice?)

"That! Well...I suppose it is. That control was impressive, by the way, but I..."

Billy glanced at the ledge then, noticing the problem. The very big problem of his clothes being gone.

"Was about to leave. I guess I'm staying a while longer."

"Why would you leave anyway? We don't any anything to do until tomorrow and these are rare times when we can enjoy ourselves and not worry about anything happening." She swam more around him to be annoying.

Billy sank further into the water, up to his neck, wondering why in the world she insisted on being so close. This was embarrassing.

"Well, something did happen, but it's a relatively minor inconvenience. If you haven't noticed, our clothes are gone. More importantly," he dropped his voice lower, "my morpher is too."

And that terrifies him, honestly. He would have brought it in if morphers were safe to submerge in water. Sadly, they were not.

"I did have other plans tonight, but I suppose that will have to wait. Were you and your husband planning to stay?"

Oh she could see why he didn't feel that safe. Lash didn't have her morpher either but hadn't thought too much of it, having had training before becoming a Ranger. It was something amazing, but it was also something she didn't have as long as Billy had.

"Yeah I could see how having all of us naked would be a really bad time to attack us," she agreed, whispering back. "But I don't think we should worry about tha-"

"Oh come on, don't call him my husband," she suddenly snapped up, her cheeks turning an interesting shade of red. "It was just so we could get in."

Billy flattened himself against the edge of the tub, suddenly very relieved that she hadn't hit him. Even the thought was enough to get him to back off.

"Your friend, then," Billy corrected, still feeling on-edge. "Regardless, I don't like this. It's too vulnerable."
