Splish Splash, I was taking a bath (Bendy timed to just after the weddings)

Not everybody wanted to go to the consummation huts straight off the bat. Which meant if they wanted to get cleaned up, they needed another spot to do so in.

Luckily, the city had just such a place: the great public baths. They were rather immense. And open, since the Moai didn't have much in the way of nudity taboos. There were private stalls around the edges, though, for those who weren't quite so open. Or just wanted to do a little 'private' bathing (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more). It's traditional for the baths to take a while. After all, pretty much everybody here has just gotten married! Enjoy!

(Oh. And your clothes are going to disappear. Nothing personal, the Rapa Nui just want to make sure you have something clean and dry to change into when you've bathed. Isn't that nice?)

Before she could react she was being hugged by a much naked Hoshi, and Billy. Her face went completely red but the tender moment allowed her to calm her anxiety. She put her arms around them both and hugged the group. "Th-thanks" She said in a small voice. She was really glad, so happy she had met them.

Oh. Oh, well, this was new. It honestly felt nice and she could really get used to this -- just not when she was naked because that could open a whole can of worms that she didn't want right now.

"Yeah. Sometimes, there's points in your life that you just gotta get through," she said, knowing that a little bit too well. She glanced at her arm once more before shaking her head a little bit in response. Right, this was no time to dwell on the past of all things.

Billy had noticed the marks earlier, but he was definitely not going to look. Too dangerous right at that moment, given the line of sight that would be required.

"And we'll get through them," Billy finished, carefully drawing back down into the water. He felt so much better after that massage, and getting to know his friends better was certainly a bonus.

Ronnie nodded in agreement before rearranging her towel and moving back to her original spot. Her eyes trailed from Billy, to Hoshi, to her arm. She looked at her concerned before speaking in a caring voice. "H-Hoshi... What happened to your arm?" Young curiosity getting the better of her.

Welp. Here it came. She gulped a bit uncomfortably before shifting a bit in the water. Well, they were sharing everything with one another, so...

"A pillar fell on me when I was fighting something that I disapproved of. I had no choice in the matter if I didn't want to fight the group," she said simply, looking down all of a sudden.

Billy nodded. If they weren't in their current state of undress he would've hugged her again, but he settled for looking sympathetic and reaching for her shoulder.

"I'm sorry. It must have been an awful adjustment. But you're still here with us, right?"

She frowned slightly before looking at her comfortingly. "Sounds like it was a valiant deed. It must have been hard." She moved forward and hugged Hoshi warmly before moving back to smile at her. "And you must be strong to still be here with us then." She said in a more cheery tone.

Maybe the more she spoke about it, the more comfortable she would become with them. She hugged Ronnae back, forcing a smile to her face.

"See, I was going to try to get information about this guy and this organization called BEGA to help one of my friends back home. But, due to my rare holy beast, I was targeted and told to either join the group or perish. So, obviously, I fought them as hard as I could. The match lasted too long and I kept on getting attacked," she spoke, still looking down.

"Seraphiel was in pretty rough shape, but when a stray beyblade hit the pillar of the arena we were in, I was too tired and too weak to do anything, so it came crashing down on me. My arm was pinned underneath the rubble and my head was swimming. But, as to not give up, I managed to find some kind of strength within me to try to get the debris off of my arm, use the sleeves of my shirt as a sling and continue on until I passed out. Then, I went into a comatose state while my teammates made sure to take care of me while their captain was down."

No matter how many times she told of what she went through, she still ended up feeling like crying and getting frustrated at herself for being so damn weak in the first place.

Billy felt his heart clench. It did sound awful---just picturing himself falling under the pillar, the fear that he would lose a vital limb, the uncertainty of what would happen to his teammates when all was said and done.

That fear, though, was overridden by the admiration he felt. Hoshi had kept going, even through all of that. "You're even stronger than I first thought," Billy whispered, smiling at her. "Not too many people could throw the weight off and keep fighting after being dealt a blow like that. I'm not sure that I could have."

He wished she wouldn't be so down on herself. That wasn't a weakness, that was strength.

Ronnae nodded in agreement. "You'd be surprised the amount of people who turned tail and ran when they saw some of the things we had to face. It's a very admirable quality!" She gives her a playful thumbs up. "I would have been honored to have you in my team Hoshi." Yeah, it's Ronnie cheering up time!

Hoshi rubbed a bit at her arm, the scars marring her skin. "Well... there's a limitation to all this. I don't have all the motion in my arm that I used to since I have metal plates, rods, and screws in my arm to keep it in place," she said, rapping her knuckles across her arm.

But, they were right. Not very many would just continue fighting after something like that. Maybe... Maybe that would help her come to terms with what happened.

Billy understood that, he did, but the optimism was infectious. How quickly this had turned around on him!

"I know, and it's definitely a loss, but you still fight. And you can still hug us," he pointed out shyly.

Ronnae nodded excitedly. "And I'm sure if you give me time, maybe I can work on something that will work a lot better than rods and bolts and metal plates. Back home the Burning Legion was really good at doing those things, but I learned a bit on them when fighting them. I could work something out! I'm really stubborn when I get my mind to it, and helping you is gonna be one of those things!" Her face was bright and it was clearly visible in her innocent enthusiasm just how young she still was. Nonetheless she was happy to be around friends.

Hoshi nodded before her usual optimism returned to her as a smile broke out on her face.

"I'd be honored," she said as she glanced at Ronnae. Oh, if they weren't naked...!

"Thank you, you two. You guys are really great friends."

"It won't be a problem," Billy confirmed happily. "We've had department members do incredible work on limbs before. Just grab Ronnie and whoever else you're comfortable with."

He smiled happily at Hoshi. "Only for someone as worth it as you."

"You got it!" She laughed shyly, covering her mouth. "I'm just really happy we're here. It's a much needed separation from the ship to be honest." She looks up in thought but shakes her head. She can handle her doubts later. Right now, it was fun time. "Hey look!" She waited for them two to look away before splashing water at them with a smile and sticking her small tongue out playfully at them.

"It is," Hoshi replied with a grin. She then decided to play along and was splashed by Ronnae. Then, with a smirk, she used her good arm to splash at the both of them.

"That's for you!"

"Hey!" Billy looked alarmed. Was splashing around in the sacred baths even allowed? He didn't want to be the one to annoy the locals, but---boy, he couldn't just let them win unopposed.

His flick of water was weaker than theirs had been. "Are we sure this isn't a violation of the laws?" he hissed.

Ronnie tilted her head with an mock incredulous look letting it set in on Billy before she laughed shyly. "It might be. I gu-guess I should behave."

She did a light flick of the water before blushing and sinking slightly into the water, keeping only her nose and up above the water looking at them.

"Uh... Sorry, local people," Hoshi said as she sank down in the water, keeping her head above the water.

How embarrassing, she thought mostly to herself.

Billy looked upset---he hadn't meant to say it that harshly, and just when they were having a good time! Maybe he was just too jumpy and uptight.

"Or maybe it's not so bad. I didn't say it was breaking a rule, I don't know, I just---"

He couldn't think of what to say next, so he threw his head back in frustration and submerged himself entirely. All they would see of him would be a bubble trail.

Ronnae's face went completely red, and she fidgeted to make sure her towel was in place. I mean secretly... she might not mind letting him see her but still... Not in front of all these people! She did a sideglance to Hoshi with an embarrassed smile.

Hoshi's hand moved to pat Billy on the back, showing that she wasn't mad at him to begin with. After all, they weren't natives on this planet -- the local people were. They were guests. (And, if she had acted like this in any of the military functions her father took her to, ohhh she would have gotten into trouble.)

"It's no problem, Billy. Someone's gotta be the considerate one."

Billy surfaced, wet hair dripping in his face and obscuring his eyes. He used Hoshi's hand as a guide up, smiling lightly at her.

"I always got scolded for ruining everyone else's fun as a child. I just didn't want to do it to you too."

Ronnae point a finger at her still beaming, even if still embarrassed, smile.

"This doesn't look like ruined fun does it?" She gave him a playful thumbs up and sunk back to the water only leaving her nose and up showing. She looked at them both from slightly above the surface.
