Slow ridin' [closed]
In just a few minutes, Billy had agreed to give Ronnae an aerial tour of the city. The RADBUG was fueled, the bits of the car he'd taken for scrap material were replaced, and it was inhabitable for a brief jaunt.
Everything settled, he parked in front of the transport tube's exit and waited for their whirlwind flight to begin. With her in tow it was bound to be memorable!

He noticed the rope ladder and saw Ronnie start to climb---uh oh, danger zone. Embarrassed, he quickly spun to face a wall far away from the ladder. "Call me when you want me up there," he managed to say.

Billy turned back to the ladder and pushed up his sleeves---yeah, time to go to work. He hoisted himself up quickly, rung by rung, until he was stretching out and standing up on the platform with Ronnie.
"I like the view from up here," he commented.

She pointed a few of the features and explained a bit about the architecture. "This is more Kaldorei architecture, or Night Elves. That's what he is too, so this feeling of home will definitely make him less sad and depressed." She led him to the bedroom, her hand snug on his. "Wow! That's so pretty!" She pointed up at the skybox roof, it shifted to different Azerothian weather skies. "This is great! I cannot thank you enough for helping me find these!" She hugged him tight before letting go. She opened the large doors that led out to a balcony pseudo branch that overlooked the yard between both their homes, nice area for a picnic or a get together. She then blinked and frowned playfully. "Remind me to close my blinds if I'm changing." She laughed as she pointed at her bedrooms window. She paused for a moment and explained herself before they thought wrong of her friend. "He's not a pervert, but he is extremely curious, and his views of privacy are... ummm unique since he grew in the wilds."

Another hug was returned with a smile, and then he flushed a little at the implication there. "If the occasion ever comes up, I will," he said seriously. "Curiosity's not an excuse for rude behavior."
Yup. If Billy finds out, Billy will be upset.

After a moment of silent observation, he smiled and drew back toward the ladder. "Is there anything else you wanted to see today?"

Because Billy clearly didn't think of himself as especially interesting.
He stood just off the edge of the ladder, gesturing for her to climb. "You should go first."

She smiled nodding once. She made her way down the ladder and awaited him downstairs, enjoying greatly their discovery.

"Where would you like to go? There are a number of locations in the City, we have Hydroponics on an upper level, the art halls, anywhere courtesy of the Sensoriums, the library..."
And he named a great many things, wondering where her whim would take her.

"I'm guessing you don't want to revisit the lab, though I nearly live there," he said with a rueful shake of his head. "The only other spot on this ship that's really mine is the Command Center, and there's not much activity there anymore."

He felt saddened but tried to perk up for her sake. "I guess I'd say that engineering is my home after all."
Most of the places were associated with memories of friends no longer with him.

She moved closer slowly, and smiled at him. "Well... we can start making places feel inviting again. With new friends and special people." She hugged him to her in a comforting manner.

He embraced her firmly, taking a shuddering breath before he drew back and tried to smile at her. "I had hoped the bathhouse would be like that, and it's worked well, but I might just have to do it with my new home."

Grinning, he opened the car door for her again. "And off we go. Tell me to stop if there's anywhere you'd like to park."
He'd parked on rooftops a few times, that was always fun.

Eventually he found an abandoned music shop and parked. "You should be able to find something here."

Still, he kept an eye on the storefront just in case any danger lurked nearby. He'd come if she wasn't out soon.
