it's days like these, you gotta find it in some other way, so one foot in front of the other [OPEN]
Now she's decided she needs to go running, and with people constantly in and out of the sensorium, reliving old battles (Honestly she thinks do I go in there and recreate the bridge of the Basroil? No.), the halls seem like the best place. Simply put, the gravity's getting to her and she's afraid of being a burden to her team just because she spent almost all her life in half G.
So you can find Lafiel in the hallways, the walls flashing past her eyes in a monotonous display of throbbing meatiness as she jogs.
The floor, however, is uneven. She steps into a pothole and falls abruptly, followed by a string of curses in Baronh. She's sprained her ankle.
After bandaging herself up (too prideful to accept help from Stacy), she'll be at the mess hall, downing bowls of the bland, proteiny glop, because after a workout, you really don't care all that much about taste.
Find her in either place.

"It looks like you've got a sprain, or worse."

She easily supports Lafiel's weight, the woman may get the feeling that it really isn't any effort at all for her.
no subject
She's not used to being supported like this. Only one person has ever done that for her, in fact, and he was...She shook the thought away. No use dwelling on it.
"Thank you." She said when they reached the medbay.

Kelly's used to carrying people, it happens a lot on the battlefield after all. And not all the other kids in the SPARTAN training were as strong as her or Sam or John.
"It's no problem. You shouldn't strain this thing though."

Lafiel sighs. Great, now she's gonna be even weaker. "I know."

She helps her up onto one of the beds, reaching for bandages as she sits on the side of the mushy mattress-type thing. "It'll be alright in a few days I guess. A week at most. Unless Stacy can fix it faster with some of this stuff."
She to the crazy looking equipment around the room.

She bends forward to try to bind her own foot but clearly this isn't working. "Now i'll be even less acclimitized to the new gravity..."
no subject
She debates holding the woman back, but figures her pride has been wounded enough and contents herself to wait until the Abh has decided that she indeed cannot reach her own foot. "You aren't used to this gravity, then? What was your world like?"
As she speaks, she carefully binds the ankle, pressing just a little to check if it's just sprained or broken.

She chuckles lightly. "I suppose I could have. S'not in me to just leave someone behind though."
no subject
Not like me... The thought intrudes on her and she shakes it off, concentrating on testing her new bindings.

Kelly's had her own experiences with having to leave teammates behind. She wouldn't blame anyone if they'd had to do the same, probably. She watches Lafiel test the bindings. "Any good?"
no subject
She manages to put most of her weight on that foot. "Much better. I can't thank you enough."
no subject
She breaks into a wide smile. "Glad I could help. We have to stick together if we want to get off this ship after all."
no subject
"I've been delaying it but if i'm to be strong enough for ground missions, i'm going to have to eat more of Stacy's raw protein sludge. I'm going to the mess hall. You're welcome to join me."
no subject
"It's not too terrible. And I probably should. If only to make sure that you don't injure yourself any further." Haha, a joke!

The mess hall seems relatively empty. A tray of the gloppy stuff is served to her by a dutiful tentacle, like a servant at some Gigerian nightmare ball.
no subject
Kelly gets her own tray and walks beside her toward one of the tables. "How long have you been here?"
