it's days like these, you gotta find it in some other way, so one foot in front of the other [OPEN]

Now she's decided she needs to go running, and with people constantly in and out of the sensorium, reliving old battles (Honestly she thinks do I go in there and recreate the bridge of the Basroil? No.), the halls seem like the best place. Simply put, the gravity's getting to her and she's afraid of being a burden to her team just because she spent almost all her life in half G.

So you can find Lafiel in the hallways, the walls flashing past her eyes in a monotonous display of throbbing meatiness as she jogs.

The floor, however, is uneven. She steps into a pothole and falls abruptly, followed by a string of curses in Baronh. She's sprained her ankle.

After bandaging herself up (too prideful to accept help from Stacy), she'll be at the mess hall, downing bowls of the bland, proteiny glop, because after a workout, you really don't care all that much about taste.

Find her in either place.

"My C.O. made decisions to keep as many of us alive as possible. Though we'd have fun carrying them out." She smiles slightly, scooped another tray-piece of slop into her mouth before she answers.

"I was...conscripted. They needed 'exceptional' children for an experimental program. I was one of the lucky ones." In more ways than one Lafiel. She's not even going to tell you about the two thirds of her 'family' who died or were incapacitated after augmentations.

Kelly just shrugs a little at that. It's too late now. "I'm sure I would have a problem with it if it was my child. But from what I hear, we were replaced with flash clones that died a few days after we were abducted. Officially we're all dead. It wasn't so bad really. Not once we got used to it."

Yeah, you know, all the electirc batons, and forced runs and short rations. Other than that not so bad.

Well there were suicide runs by UNSC ships as well. The Covenant weren't exactly known for being nice at all. It was a long time before anyone was actually able to take down a Covenant ship after all.

"A coalition of alien races calling themselves the Covenant. They're intent on wiping humans from the galaxy. No one was able to combat their advanced technology until us. We were the last ditch effort to beat them."
