Spellcraft? Or Knowledge (arcana)? Who knows? [Open]
Having given warning to the crew as they asked -- and regretting the days in his own lands, where massive ground-shaking detonations would earn no more notice than a peddler with delicious folded bread -- Aibghalien stepped into the sensorium. With a wave of his hand he bade it produce the image of his former laboratory -- much like his current one, save the outer walls were constructed of massive blocks of stone, testament to its position in the tallest tower of the castle he once dwelt in.
Then, with more painstaking care than it seemed worth, he began forming duplicates of each of his magical items, pausing to laboriously inspect each one before setting it to one side, next to its actual twin.
This promised to be a fruitful night.

"No difference from what I'd expect," Aibghalien said, straightening up. He hadn't even noticed he'd leaned on her.
no subject
"Indeed, yet another aspect the sensorium can replicate then," she replied thoughtfully, looking down to him with a smile as she felt him straighten up, showing she that she hadn't minded that he had. "Quite the powerful tool to be able to simulate all such things to such great detail,"

He cut the spell off abruptly and restored the scene to its original state through a few mental commands to the sensorium. Then without delay he began truly casting the spell once more, another ten-minute process.

Falling quiet and setting herself back on her haunches as she again watched the elven wizard work his magic. Watching for every moment of those ten minutes, as she had before, mentally comparing the motions to those he had performed earlier in his draconic form as well as comparing the flows of magic.

Pondering a moment, she got up carefully as he was turned away, stepping to a bit of the lab where there was plenty of room and still a fine view of the growing clouds, with a thought to the sensorium she suddenly grew in size, taking on her original size of near nine/ten foot to the shoulder and twenty eight foot long. Padding back over to stand behind the pacing wizard. Peering down to him. Everso often glancing back to the growing clouds and the magic within them.

Yes, he had nearly jumped out of his skin, thank you. Certainly he'd put a few feet between his current position and his original one. Hand pressed to his chest, he stared upwards at her. "You could have warned me!"
He wasn't really mad, though.

Dipping her head down so that it was level with his own, "My appologies," she replied softly with a grin in her eyes as she crouched down, crossing her paws lightly, "It is so rarely of late that I've been my true size," she commented with a soft chuckle.
Looking past him though and out to the storm forming beyond, "There's nothing stopping you from enjoying it, though if you were after real rain, it does occasionally rain in the city, perhaps that spell of your's may work there as well," she suggests with a warm smile down to him, "Indeed, I myself do enjoy a good walk, or even flight in the rain on occasion,"
no subject
Not that that'd ever stop him, but to do it purely for pleasure seemed to be asking for trouble.
no subject
"Besides there may be others who might wish to enjoy a bit of rain, who can say," She added with a smile down to him, "Or we could wait for one of the occasional bits of rain the City recieves,"
no subject
He's joking. Mostly.
no subject
"Perhaps if you were to let people know, perhaps speak to a council member on the matter beforehand, I'm sure little problem would come from it after that," She replied after a moment leaning her head right down to him with a smile, "Who knows, perhaps some could use the rain, I myself collect some of that which already falls to water the garden of my abode,"
no subject
He looked out at the storm as the lightning began in earnest, and the rain picked up once again. Somehow it didn't seem necessary to point out that he'd seen nothing different.

Celena drew her gaze once more to the storm as the lightning picked up in earnest. It was actually quite peaceful to watch she thought, crossing her forelimbs lightly as she gave the lightest bump of her snout to his shoulder, "Perhaps a small break could do," she would suggest with a smile down to him, "if you wish to take a seat I do not mind," she would offer after a moment of thought nodding down to her currently fairly large chest and forelimbs.

He rested his arms on his knees, thinking, then looked up. "I think I shall be pleased, just because it's been forever since I had someone to conduct experiments with."
no subject
"I am glad then, it has been but a pleasure to help with your experiments today, should you ever wish my assistance with them in the future as well I would be but happy to," She replied softly as she lowered her head around so she could peer down to him, a smile of happiness clear on her snout.
no subject
A question occurred to him, and at this point he felt comfortable enough to ask it. "Do you have a breath weapon?"
no subject
A tilt of her head was given though at his question, a breath weapon? "Unlike many other dragons, I myself do not, my energies though make up for any want of one," She replied easily as she had a ripple of energy and light flow over her markings to aid her point, and perhaps show off a little.
no subject
To his credit, it took him a full second before his brow furrowed thoughtfully. "Of course, I'd be willing to wager I could devise some sort of effect which would essentially simulate one in all relevant aspects..."
no subject
With some amusement, as well as a good deal of curiosity as she tilted her head a little as she looked down to him "Oh indeed? That could be quite interesting indeed to see,"
no subject
"Well then! I'll get to work on that as soon as possible!" he said, that particular manic gleam in his eye.
no subject
Celena couldn't help but give a soft rumbling chuckle as she smiled back to him, "I look forward to seeing what comes of it,"
no subject
Go on, say 'elves', Celena. He dares you.
no subject
"Many things, depending on what is available, meats usually, beef, venison and the like. though I do not mind the occasional other foods, such as breads and pastries I've come to like," She replied after a moment, technically she hadn't explicitly ruled out 'elves' but either way she didn't eat such things.

He must be growing more comfortable, he didn't even turn red.
