The Sinking Feeling You Get When You Eat Magic Food
Welcome meatship crewmembers to the instrument of pure silly.
It had been a long period of waiting, but a prank was about to be issued after these dire dark times. As such, tables were set up around the WITCH Bus and other locations, unmanned stands where Lemonade and Brownies were available with the compliments of your friendly companions.
Do you dare risk chocolately goodness or sour-sweetness to discover it's dark delicious secrets?
(ooc: tag around, bug others and feel free to continue to madness. IC duration is about a day. Unless you deliberately take more with you. As a reminder, Lemonade brings you up ages to a good looking adultish level. Brownies turn you into kids. GO NUTS. Refer to the ooc post for details and ask questions there.)

She smiled. That was so like Matt, to not push Tavros off or anything. He really was a sweet guy.
And lucky she was older and therefore not as susceptible to blushing at thoughts like that. She took him arm and arm, and led him down to the city, in the glade where the wolves sometimes went.

"Then, um, hi. I don't think we've met. I'm Tavros."
The glade is a new part of the city for Tavros. He mostly hangs around the media center, sensoriums, hydroponics, and sometimes the Outsiders turf. He stares around, impressed.
He never knew this was here.

Yes Matt, she was WELL prepared for this.
She placed Tavros across from them, and indicated a spot for Matt to sit. She laid out the food, and finally sat down once she was done.
"I hope you like it!" Katara said.

"Wow, that's, uh, quite a spread. How long, have you been planning this?"
Yeah, guys, the grub might be teasing you a little.
no subject
"At least I wasn't expecting it now... but it's a nice change from the routine."

"Well, I figured it might be a good time," Katara said, looking down a little. Yes, she had looking older in her favor, but that didn't match the fact that she'd been thinking about it more and more everyday.
Not that anyone had to know that.
"What do you think, Tavros, Matt?"

He was smiling as he took another bite.

She gave Tavros a friendly pet and looked over at Matt, her eyes dancing a little. "So how have you guys been doing?"

She brought each of them a plate. "It's the last of the food I got from that planet, but I thought I'd save it for a special occasion. "You know, I don't think we get to have enough nice times like these without something bad happening. We should probably take this time and enjoy ourselves."
She lay on her back, looking up and sighing. "What did you guys do when you had times like these to just kick back?"
no subject
"Mostly, I played card games with my lusus. Or, did jousting practice, or, uh, tamed animals and stuff."
no subject
"As for stuff I did, well I usually clean, maintain the bus. Sometimes I go work out, conjure up a regular gym and play some basketball."

She started on one piece of the croissant, thinking a moment. "When we weren't running for our lives, we would take the time to get to know the local flora and fauna, experience what new and different things people were doing. We didn't like everything we saw, of course: some people fought all the time, like they do on the ship, and some were very hostile to us. But the best thing about that, and even now, is the not knowing: we never know what the day will bring, or what new ways of thinking are possible."
And slowly, her hand creeps toward Matt's. "If anything, I think my only regret is not getting to get off the ship as much as I'd like."
