Ten rounds at the Drunken Dragon...

The addition of a few new drinks, Kaylee hopes, will help get a few newbies into the bar, which will hopefully help it getting everyone a bit more relaxed than they have been. Not everyone on Stacy necessarily like beer or ale, so some vodka and wine open it up nicely to different tastes. Kaylee has also managed to rig up some nice cross-between-Chinese-and-folksy-sounding music, which she can be found dancing to on occasion behind the bar or while she's delivering drinks to tables.

Bar's open, everybody. Come try the new drinks--just don't start any trouble, or the Draconian in the corner will take you out.

Kang grinned, overhearing from his spot nearby, and raised his own mug, "Don't know what good vodka is supposed to taste like, but I like this stuff. Mei-Xing did an excellent job."

Dean gave a grin to Kaylee, and a nod to Kang. He raised his glass once the drink was poured.

"Yeah? I'll be the judge of that." He belted back some of it, and swallowed.

"Not bad."

"Not bad?" Kaylee shakes her head. "Nope, try it again, take another swallow. It's way better'n 'not bad.'"

"Aw come on, baby. You know I'm a whiskey man."

He sighed, and then had another swig of the alcohol.

"Ok, it's pretty good, happy?"

Pleased, Kaylee grins. "Very," she replies, leaning over the counter to give Dean a quick kiss.

Dean gave a grin and kissed her back.

"This mean we might get some in the future?" he added hopefully.

"You'd have to talk to him." She pointed down the bar at Kang. She wasn't opposed to the idea of whiskey at all, but... If he wanted it, he needed to convince the Draconian to get it.

"We're working on it," Kang shrugged, amused by the kiss. It was good to see Kaylee happy, and Dean, too. "Can't make whiskey without grain, or a mill."

"Come on man, hook a guy up. Mei-Xing's gave me some plans for a mill, and don't hydroponics got something grainy you can brew or ferment up?"

Kaylee shot Kang a rather obvious look of, 'Nothing from the Peanut Gallery, please,' and continued on cleaning the mugs in front of her. "Some of it's in the works, but it ain't gonna be right overnight. Just gotta be patient, and the whiskey'll be worth it."

Kang just winked at Kaylee before responding to Dean, "Fletcher's got some wheat from Zokez II growing, but it isn't ready yet. That means we'll be able to make more ale, too."

"Awesome. And yeah it better be." He wants some good drinking. But he'll settle for more vodka though.

He gestured to his glass, "How about a refill?"

"Comin' up," Kaylee replied, ignoring Kang's wink and reaching to refill Dean's cup instead. "You keep drinkin', though, Kang's gonna have to walk you back to your bunk."

Dean started to take another drink, but then sputtered, "Wait, why him? Kang, it's your place, you gotta call last call and close up shop, don'tcha?"
