The Rebirth of Veronica (Phase One)
[ooc: PLOT POST IS HERE! Read it!]
He stalked through the hallways like a shadow, moving too quickly for anyone to keep a bead on him for long. There almost seemed to be a purpose in his movement as he made his way through the dark corridors of the ship, though it was impossible to tell where he was headed. Perhaps the young man whose body had been hijacked was exerting some kind of control, or perhaps Veronica was doing the driving.
Whatever the case, the Tyrant made his way to the City.
He emerged from the tunnels and into the wide open space, at last free of the cramped hallway. He took a few steps into the streets and sniffed the air, smelling human blood. He roared, a horrible and twisted noise, then headed into the streets.
She demanded they all bow to her. They were little more than prey for the Queen in the grand scale of things. These thoughts rang hollow in a primal mind, though, but he knew what he had to do.
They would all die.

If they lived. Irma couldn't help but shriek as Steve roared. Covering her head, she didn't see Devlin shoot at the beast.

He was about to smash the human girl into oblivion, right up until he was shot once again in the side. He turned towards the attacking human again, stomping at him and distracted from his current prey.
He took two heavy steps, then sprang into a long leap, nearly landing on top of the fused pair. He missed so slightly they likely felt him graze alongside them, then he lashed out to snatch them from the ground and lift them up into the air.
It was smashing time.

"...th-this is my fault..." Irma uttered. "He's gonna get killed because..." She shook her head as she narrowed her eyes. "N-No! No, I won't let him!"
Charging at the two, Irma finally gathered her wits and began magically gathering water.
"If I'm gonna die, it's gonna be saving these boys' lives!" Irma shouted. Gathering as much as she could, she began to sling it around... as she began glowing blue. "WATER!"

"...wait... th-this was how I was when I fought the Ohm!" Irma uttered, seeing her new form again. "B-But, how...?" Briefly, her mind ran back through those events and realized. "...I never gave it back to Matt afterwards! Holy crap, I had this the whole time and...!"
Shaking her head, she flew over to the injured Kamen Rider. "Alright, NOW can we go?!"

He took two heavy steps towards the humans, then suddenly stopped. He stared at them for a few seconds and began to slowly back away, bowing over and clutching at his head with both clawed hands.

"Holy Arrow!" Angewomon shouted from the air as she flew over the battle, launching an arrow of light... and letting it explode in front of the giant monster. Sure, she and Hikari saw the post on the Omnicrom, but if this was really a mutated crew mate, then they couldn't kill him.
Or rather, she couldn't, because Hikari wouldn't let her.

Irma sized up the situation a bit - carrying Hikari wouldn't be a problem. Kamen Rider Devlin? Just a little, but they had no real choice...

He seemed to be trying to book it anyway. As soon as he had a chance, he disappeared down the nearest alleyway and out of the line of fire-- but they were all safe for now.

Letting out a sigh, she turned to Hikari. "I... really owe you one."
