Bewildered
She'd made her way to the Media library, the only place she figured would be a good p[lace for her to start looking up all of the shit that went down. There was a lot of information here, and she figured it would be the first place to start researching on the Ohm and the affect they were having on other worlds. She had already had an idea on the pathetic ass recon on the Ohm that some people had, but as far as she knew there seemed to be an easy going way about the people on the ship that she didn't like. Oh sure, there were some fledgling associations and some people were definitely more interested than others in eradicating the Ohm threat, but this was Hit girl on the job, and she was the type to not care what other sloppier people did.
So now, she could care less than she was one of the younger people on the crew underestimated because of her age. She could care less that her first attempt to collect information via the network had been maligned by some prick. She didn't even care that there were these fucking double standards on adults and teenagers and kids, who were supposedly the lower part of the chain here. What she did care about was that it was very likely that she would not know what it was like to be IN a normal situation for herself anymore: what proof did she have that she couldn't trust any of these people without them looking down on her? No, her vendetta against the Ohm was her own, and if she had to go it alone, well, more power to her. She was used to that.
It wasn't like Big Daddy was around to help with that, like in the old days. Sucky as it was, she could have used his help.

"Man," Hit girl, said, shaking her head and looking at the device, "the longer I'm here, the more I start to wonder if they slipped something into my drink at school. Weapons usually don't talk...at least, none of mine do. Good thing too: they'd have some pretty gruesome stories to tell."

She didn't really know any fictional entities - maybe that were simply mythical people who actually existed and were forgotten, only to be remembered in stories? - but on the weapons, she had to agree.
"They have a lot to tell, for sure." She agreed. "Of course, if they can talk, they can watch out for you and detect enemies and the like."

Now that was an idea. She could certainly use someone having her back, considering she usually was going through all of this alone. Who knew, maybe she should go looking for a sidekick.
"So that's what yours does. Sounds really useful, actually. So what are you looking up here?"

Who really cared about other people swearing? It wasn't really a big deal, unless you had a stick shoved up your butt. Vita could emphasize, in a way.
"Nothing much, I was just checking out the ship. Gotta know the terrain well if there's ever trouble inside. I can protect those I care about better when I know what's around me."
And that really was her reasoning. Not exactly the best, but oh well.

There was no mistaking the dripping sarcasm in Hit girl's voice.
"I hear you there," she said. "I'm doing the same thing, when it gets down to it. Of course, I'm not in the business of helping people on the ship. I don't even know them."
Well, maybe that Hiccup guy: he was pretty neat and didn't feed her BS.

As for the second thing, Vita shrugged. "Someone has to watch out for the people I care about, so why not me?"
no subject
Hit girl looked a little surprised. "So you've already found people to care about on the ship? How long have you been here?"
no subject
She wasn't actually active on the ship, but really, Vita didn't feel that bad about badmouthing her, since, technically, it was pretty true. The other knight was way too stuck on mannerism.
"I just got out of those slime pods, but I've met some people from my world. They were in Mobile Section 6 back in Mid-Childa alongside me."

Granted, she could have been nicer about it, but Hit girl had a reputation to maintain. She could be nice when she was Mindy again.
"Lucky you," she said. "Who are they, so I'll know to keep an eye out?"
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha cast flood.
"Well, there's my mistress, Hayate, of course, she's with the magical department. There's Nanoha, who leads the magical department and Fate, and the daughter of those two women, Vivio. And of course the two Rein's, though while they have the same name they look nothing alike. One's as tall as my hand and floats."
Quite a lot of people from her world, come to think of it. Not to mention the two others, Einhard and Cinque, who she wasn't too sure about.
Re: Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha cast flood.
"How do you have a daughter of two women? Last I checked, you needed a guy for that part." Not that it much mattered to her, but hell, if the way of obtaining a child was different in other worlds, she wanted to know about it. There was enough crazy things going on in this ship to boggle her mind why not one more?
"A floating chick too? Man, your world is WAY more interesting than mine."
