Rein had made the announcement. While she had plenty of fabric left, read: enormous piles, she was also excited at the prospect of making outfits for everyone for this event. And also, she had made an extra note that anyone who was participating in Miss Stacy could come get something made up as well.

She was flitting around, carrying stacks of cloth and hoping the first customer would walk in.

Devlin knew that besides the party, he could also use another set of clothes for nicer occasions, or at least for when he was hanging out with Hikari. But the party? Definitely something he was looking forward to.

"Hey, Rein," he said as he entered.

"Devlin hi!" exclaimed Rein as she set down a stack of cloth. "Come to get something done up for normal or is this for something special?"

"Normal for now," Devlin said, grinning. "See, I kind of want another outfit, something I could wear for nicer occasions."

"Something like this, maybe?"

Rein whistled. "That is beautiful! I'd be happy to make it up for you!"

She giggled at that. "Come on, what colors do you want it in?"

"Not sure," Devlin admitted. "What do you think?"

Things he was quickly learning: When it came to trying to impress girls, it was easier just to ask other girls for advice. And try not to let on about too much if he could help it.

"Dark colors. Black, gold, silver most likely," said Rein. "It goes with your skin type being pale like that and with your hair." And she ruffled his hair. "I also recommend some nice boots with that too."

"Sounds great!" Devlin agreed. "Anything else, you think?"

"Hmm, now that you mention it, we'll probably come looking for something akin to a sleeker outfit for you. A little more formal too." mused Rein. "The outfit you have here is really great, and while it's dressy, you need something just a little less than that for casually formal days."

That made sense, and Devlin nodded. "Okay. Got any ideas?"

"Maybe a suit-like outfit, but with a more relaxed appearance," mused Rein as she brought up her sketchbook and began to draw. "Shorter sleeves that go to the lower arm, a zippered front, nice fitting pants and a dark blue shirt."

And now he was completely lost. He wasn't completely sure what she meant by "formal, but relaxed," so he gave her a helpless look and said, "Okay, I'll trust you on this." After all, she hadn't steered him wrong before.

"It's like being dressy but not," explained Rein as she brought up a nice looking dark outfit on her sketchbook and held it up for him to look at. The sweater was open fronted with a zipper and sleeves that went to the forearms but not quite to the wrist. The shirt and pants looked formal enough to be dressy but in a casually formal attire.

He still wasn't quite sure what that meant, but now that he looked at sketch, he liked it.

"Yeah," he said. "I think that'll work."

"Great. I'll get this started and since I have your measurements it's easier to do. Wanna come back in an hour and I should have it done for you? You're the first on the list and all," said Rein.

"Sounds great!" Devlin answered.
