Ever since exposing GLaDOS's true function, Claire was starting to remember people she'd forgotten. It was kind of weird, some things had clicked back into place immediately, but others had taken time to recall. And since she became aware of it, there was a constant feeling on the edge of her mind that she was still missing something and it was important, but she just couldn't get a grasp on it.

That, of course didn't stop her from trying. She was determined to remember what it was, even if it didn't seem like Stacy quite wanted her to. All this excess thinking left her wandering around with a slightly spaced out look, however, and she'd been more than a little distracted. So when she was interacting with the kids in her class she had to push it back, which made it harder for her to try to get a hold on it, again.

So, anyone happening to wander through hydroponics may come across Claire sitting in one of her favorite spots, back up against a tree. She's half watching Boon run around and throwing a ball for him, but for the most part she's off in her own world.

As soon as Jujube was down, Boon started wriggling in Claire's arms to be free, obviously wanting to play with the other puppy. After a moment she relented, letting the dog go with a quiet "play nice," before looking up at Fletcher again.

"So, how come I've never seen you at one of my survival classes?"

"Survival classes?" Fletcher blinked. "Oh-- um, I never thought about that." Maybe he should, he wondered. "I've been thinking of learning how to fight, though..."

Yay, Jujube had a friend! Off he bounded to someplace nearby, where they could run and pounce without disturbing the humans.

Claire watched the dogs run off, before smiling up at Fletcher, tilting her head to the side.

"It's not so much fighting, but I go over picking locks, how to keep yourself safe if you find yourself separated from the crew... I'm doing gun safety in a couple weeks." It was kind of like extreme scouts.

"Oh..." Huh, he hadn't thought of anything like that. Picking locks could probably come in handy in a big wide multiverse like this -- bound to come across some kind of material he'd never seen before, and you can't transmute what you don't know. The rest of it, too... "Um, what days do you have it on?"

"Mondays, at 1600. We usually meet down in the conference room on the first floor of the precinct." She smiled, looking a little excited at having a new student. Not enough of the kids participated in her class, and she was kind of hoping to start slowly changing that.

"Um, I guess I'll go to the next one, then." He smiled back and nodded. "Thanks!"
