I'm echoing all your philosophies;

Ever since exposing GLaDOS's true function, Claire was starting to remember people she'd forgotten. It was kind of weird, some things had clicked back into place immediately, but others had taken time to recall. And since she became aware of it, there was a constant feeling on the edge of her mind that she was still missing something and it was important, but she just couldn't get a grasp on it.

That, of course didn't stop her from trying. She was determined to remember what it was, even if it didn't seem like Stacy quite wanted her to. All this excess thinking left her wandering around with a slightly spaced out look, however, and she'd been more than a little distracted. So when she was interacting with the kids in her class she had to push it back, which made it harder for her to try to get a hold on it, again.

So, anyone happening to wander through hydroponics may come across Claire sitting in one of her favorite spots, back up against a tree. She's half watching Boon run around and throwing a ball for him, but for the most part she's off in her own world.

"You're going to give yourself a headache," Sherry advised. Unfortunately, she knew just what her mother was talking about. It was an annoying nagging feeling, and she was doing her best to distract herself with other things rather than stew on whatever it was. Like helping watching Dr. Sera in the lab.

"Especially if you can't figure out what it is. Maybe you don't need to know right now?" She shrugged slightly. "Or it might pop up by itself if you're not thinking about it. They're sneaky like that."

"I know." Sherry smiled at Claire, cheerful. "But I worry about you, and about Dad when you two act funny, so I'm just going to say don't be so stubborn for a little bit, and leave it at that." She nodded once, to emphasize her words.

"You are, of course. I'm advisement!" Sherry smiled. "And I hope you do, what if you end up walking into something? How am I supposed to explain to Dad that you spaced out and met a tree or worse?"

Though, she supposed she'd have to stop laughing, first.

Sherry tried to move her head, but upon realizing that would only make her hair worse, sighed deeply and subjected herself to her mother's ruffling. At least it was too long now to worry about getting those terrible little, spiky flyaways her shorter hair used to.

And Claire was much nicer about it than Leon. "Oh, and speaking of Dad, he's been working for eighteen hours so far. Because he's crazy."
