Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

"God's plan."

There may be a little hair ruffling, or playing with. It's hard to tell what Caprica has in mind at the current moment. That or it could easily be a hand laying upon his arm as light as a feather. "There are many things He wishes with us all, but only one path." When her eyes broke away from Sam she glanced up and about the ship before looking to others gathered there as well. "This is just one of many steps."

Lump. Throat. Swallow.

She was touching him and, even through the leafy suit, Sam's could feel the warmth of her skin. Then again, that may have just been the wave of heat that washed through his body as he began to, again, realize that the space separating him and Caprica was continuing to shrink. And he wasn't the one doing the shrinking.

"Yeah...I, uh...I hear that...a lot." He cleared his throat. "I just, you know, I'm not sure how much I believe it."

Insert pointed look at Dean here.

Aaaand now, there's a bit of a smirk forming on Dean's face as he looks back at Sam. The dude is totally flustered, and while Dean's finding it amusing that Sam's personal space is being invaded, Dean is actually sort of pissed.

And not because Sam's getting all the action. No, it's totally because the girl's being invasive... or something.

"Sorry, lady. God's plan isn't as wonderful and amazing as you think it is."

Says the guy fresh from Hell.

Oh there might be a little bit of glare in there for Dean.

"Everyone has a time when their faith in Him is tested. It is all part of the plan. Some," she says giving Dean a quick glance before looking back to Sam, "are like a child lost in the woods. They will return to the path again when they find what it is they are looking for." Raising her right hand she brushed her fingers through the hair on the back of Sam's head.

"Uh huh. Y'know, I think I'm gonna go with the path less traveled by, if it's not too much trouble," Dean replies, dripping sarcasm, and then scoots forward, almost like he's wanting to slap her hand away.

"And hey, couldja quit it with the molesting? Jesus."

... A little possessive there, aren't you Dean?

Sam shifted awkwardly as Caprica ran her fingers through his hair, feeling her nails graze his scalp and send a shiver down his spine. It was this act that finally compelled him to take a step back. Not because it bothered him but rather because the leaf-suits that Stacy had felt compelled to dress them in didn't exactly leave much to the imagination. And if Caprica kept up what she was doing, there was going to be even less left to the imagination.

"Aherm..." he cleared his throat.

"Sorry," he apologized to Caprica, indicating his brother. "He gets a little protective sometimes."

Caprica hasn't blinked the entire conversation- not once, which if someone noticed could be classified as odd. But this once? She blinks at Dean. Just. Once.

Looking back to Sam she gives only the slightest nod of her head as she steps back slightly. One day she'll learn about personal space. "My apologies," the number Six spoke slowly, "I was not aware I was doing something unwelcomed."

Dean's scowl grows even more pronounced, and honestly, if someone were to ask him why he was so pissed, he probably wouldn't be able to answer. Really, it's probably the mix of listening to people argue pointlessly, and having to watch Sam's every movement, along with the crowds.

Because of course, if someone knocks Sam over, there will be massive smack down.

"No, you weren't really," Sam replied a little too zealously. Of course she wasn't doing anything unwelcome, Sam, and if she'd kept it up every member of the crew would have known just how welcome it was.

"I just...you know...um...didn't want...it was just getting...." STAMMERING SAMMY!!

"Uh, maybe we could talk about this later? Maybe somewhere a little less public?"

"If that is what you wish."

The smile that slides across Caprica's face is warmer than the one she ends up giving Dean at the end of her words. "I would like to hear more about your planet." Then she paused. "And you."

"Me? I'm nobody interesting, sweetheart," Dean replies flippantly. "Let Sammy take this one. He's a better story teller, anyway."

Sam could only manage a nod and smile to Caprica before she turned and left him and Dean, her hips moving back and forth in a fluid, graceful motion as she walked. (Oh, yeah, Six, Sam's kinda staring at your butt.) He keeps his eyes on her for several lingering moments as she drifts further away before turning his attention back to his brother.

And Sammy is not happy. What else is new?

"Dude! What the hell was that?"

"What the hell was what?" Dean asks calmly, raising an eyebrow. He'd watched Sam stare obviously at Six's ass, and while normally he would tease the hell out of Sam for it, he's irritated by it today.

Sam opened his mouth, ready to start in on his brother for being a jerk to the girl for what--to him--appeared to be no reason but with the look that Dean was giving him, he knew that his older brother was just going to stick with the dumb routine. And, with as long as this meeting had become, Sam was just too tired to fight.

"Never mind. Forget it," he said with a shake of his head. (There might even be a roll of the eyes in there, too.)
