Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

[ooc: READ THIS BEFORE TAGGING.]

"I'm a licensed hunter!" Temperance says, though her mouth kinda drops open in disbelief to the last part of Dean's sentence. "Supernatural creatures?" Her eyebrows arch dubiously and she shakes her head - finding that one hard to believe.

"Licsensed hunter as in how?" And Dean shrugs. "Yeah, supernatural creatures. Werewolves, vampires, demons, the whole she-bang."

"As in I'm licensed to hunt," Temperance repeated slowly, her eyebrows knitting together. "Though I only hunt for food," she pointed out with a nod of her head.

She cast Dean another dusbelieving look and shook her head. "You are aware that all of those creatures you listed are folklore that people made up to explain things they found disturbing or scary or things they simply couldn't understand, don't you?"

She really doesn't believe in things that go bump in the night Dean, sorry.

"Oh, hunt animals. Right," Dean nods. As ironic as it is, Dean had actually never been hunting for animals. Or the normal kind, anyway. Werewolves don't count. Also, Dean has a rebuttal for that last comment of Brennan's: "I hunt to keep people from becoming food."

He pauses, and then flashes Brennan another grin. He couldn't care less if Brennan didn't believe, because most people don't. She'll see eventually.

"People use those for excuses, yeah, but more times than not they're actually not lying about what they saw in the dark," Dean says flippantly. "Believe it or not, Brennan, but you asked me what I do, and I answered."

"It's actually quite exhilarating," Temperance said quite seriously. "I'm licensed in several states."

"You're right, I did," she murmured, though that didn't mean she believed him - and her look more than said it. But really, it didn't seem plausible to her to even begin to think that Vampires, Werewolves and things like that were real.

Her lips pressed together and she looked away for a moment. "What do you do on the ship?" She's being nosy, and no it doesn't really bother her that she is.

"So is my kind of hunting. Not exactly sure if it's legal, though," Dean replies just as seriously. He's very casual about the whole thing, like none of this bothers him. Which it doesn't.

"So far, nothing. I offered to do patrols a while ago," Dean answers, watching her with a very calm expression on his face. She'll know when she's being too nosy, because he'll immediately shut himself off. It's not hard to see it when he does it.

Temperence looked at him ready to start one of her 'but it doesn't make sense' not-quite-tirades, but decided that whatever it was he thought he was hunting wasn't any of her business and she'd leave it alone for the time being.

"So you've obviously been here a while if you've been given a job," she commented.

Good, because Dean's tired of explaining. He gets bored of having to explain to people about this sort of thing.

"Not too long. A few weeks, maybe. It's not really a job, anyway. This place is so unorganized it's not even funny," Dean replies, shrugging. He actually hasn't been on any sort of thing resembling a patrol, yet. Mostly he's just messed around in the sensoriums.
