Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

"I say nay." Javert says, delurking from the edges of the group. "It's not a personal matter; but I cannot vote in favour of someone I have never even spoken to." Despite not having spoken to many people on board. Still, he has a favourable first impression of Chief, more than he knows about Kirk.

"But I will put my vote behind Captain Picard." He's contrary like that.

"Whoopee to both!" the Doctor says brightly. Anyone who hasn't been paying very, very close attention might be confused.

Picard does seem sensible enough, and while 'Leven hasn't gotten quite a handle on Kirk's personality yet, well, as much as he trusts Chief, no one should have two authoritative positions when there's this many candidates.
