Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

"And I don't make promises that I don't keep. Still, I tend to keep a healthy suspicion for officers. I've been shafted by one or two on the field who'd rather look out for his own men than give half a damn for me and my squad. Part of being a Spartan."

"If we're going to trust each other we have to start somewhere, so I'm giving everyone the benefit of the doubt until they give me a reason not to."

Worf seems a bit troubled.

"Captain Picard has never 'shafted' anyone under his command. He has always been a fair commander. He has never left anyone behind unless he has been absolutely forced to."

"But yes. That is a good place to start."

"Just telling you where I'm coming from, Lieutenant. Never said your Captain did, and what I've seen of him would make me doubt it even if I were told otherwise." He shrugs a little.

Worf hesitates a moment.

"It is Lieutenant-Commander, Chief."

"I'm sorry." He sighs. "I've been... very distracted lately." This is a bad sign. Like how he'd nearly put his fist through something after the first Halo. A lot of stress over a short period of time.

"That's another reason why it's excellent to know I'll be having help. I can do a lot, but this is rapidly going beyond anything one man can hold together alone."

"It is understandable, with all this sort of madness to take care of. Especially if this much bickering is normal." He almost cracks that rare smile of his but not quite.

"I will be happy to help you with these duties. Running security can be a difficult and taxing job."
