Meet N' Greet!

It's big meeting time! Word of mouth gets everyone gathered in the Obs Deck--everyone. New, old, the entire crew is there and that makes it clear that there's close to a hundred of them, if not more.

When they've all arrived, a blue bubble pops up around them, courtesy of Blue Beetle, to block them all from Stacy's sensors. Most of the new people were given the basic rundown by Cybil or Chief when they were first released. Some of them have already joined a discussion with a the Commanding Officers and department heads. Some have had a chance to explore a bit. Some were only just recently released.

"There are always too many apes," One-Leaf-Ear says, flatly. "It does not surprise me that it is the same here."

"I have never lost a fight to an ape. I never want to do it again."

There you go, that's what's really bugging her. Bella's gotten used to a large number of humans, the homids always outnumbered the lupus at her sept as well.

"Unless Chief is Garou," she adds. He had made some kind of remark about being able to "be a wolf". Of course he wasn't being literal, but Bella's always been bad with metaphors and such.

"I do not think he is Garou. He would tell us if he was, I think." What kind of Garou would keep that fact hidden from them?

"He might be. Many scars. Very strong." This is mostly wishful thinking on Bella's part, trying to make the fact he just pinned her to the floor less of a blow to her dignity.

"Plays-In-Traffic hides," she adds more quietly.

"Yes, but he told us," she says, equally quiet. She snorts, then tilts her head as she peers at Chief. "Unless he is a not-right Garou, like the apes are not-right. Perhaps is from somewhere that is...wrong."

"Perhaps he is. I will watch him, just in case."

Or you know, Bella, he could be a badass super soldier from the future. That ever cross your mind?

"I suppose I can see why he is Beta. I do not know why he stands down, the other human is smaller."

"Because size is not always the most important factor." She snorts again, eyeing Bella. "I am a small wolf, and I have led before."

"He s not a werewolf by the way. He's an artificially enhanced human. Kind of like the homo sapiens version of a Cyberwolf," Wags says, after listening in.

"You know him?" asks Bella, surprised.

One-Leaf-Ear turns to glower at Wags, pinning her ears back. "He is of the Weaver, then?"

"He's a fictional character in our world. And could probably hold his own against us even in Crinos. SO I'd suggest NOT fighting him."

Wags rolls is eyes when Leaf lowers her ears. "Oh calm down. He didn't have much of a choice in it. I don't like the Weaver either, but even I think the guy should get a pass for being more-or-less forced into it."

"Human should not be able to beat a Garou in a fight. Isn't right," says Bella. This is great, not only is he human but he's of the freaking Weaver, too.

The Talon lets out a huff of agreement, casting a sour look in Chief's direction. "Hrr. Forced into it. Should we not kill fomori because the Wyrm 'forced' them into it as well? It is the same situation."

"That analogy completely fails when you remember that the Fomori have tried to kill us repeatedly, whereas the Master Chief? Hasn't."

"That an' if you try an' kill anyone an' I'll hand you yer damn tail, Talon."

Oh, yeah, this is Plays.

"And you would have plenty of help from the Chief, I do not doubt," the Get replies acidly.

One-Leaf-Ear's tail and ears both rise aggressively as she bristles. "I am only pointing things out, Gnawer," she snarls. "I have not killed any of the apes. I do not plan to, unless they prove themselves deserving."

"Yeah, and any Garou that outranks you would do the EXACT same thing if you broke the rules back home." Wags pointed out.

"I really gotta wonder what counts as desreving with you."

"Girl, you think bein' a human is enough to die an' if it weren't for th' fact that there are more powerful people around, you woulda already killed mosta them."

Tony glares at One-Leaf-Ear then looks at Bella, "Wouldn't need his damn help."

Bella growls. "Is that so, Philodox?"
She narrows her eyes. "I will follow the ones this pack calls Leaders. But if he is of the Weaver and becomes threat to me, or other Garou, I will fight him."

The lupus glares back, ears and tail still up. "You do not even know which tribal camp I hail from, Gnawer. I am not a Predator King."

"Damn right."

Another look at One-Leaf, "I've known enough Talons. You guys hate everythin' about humans, regardless of what camp you're from."
