[Open to Members of Security]
Fate really, really wanted to just head straight back to her room, take a long shower, then huddle up in a corner somewhere. She felt incredibly unclean, and she was starting to feel a bit tired, but that was pushed aside for now. There were more important things to do now. They had to bring justice to a girl who tried to use another person for a horrible purpose... a purpose that still made Fate's stomach turn.
So anyone inside the Precinct will notice three people entering: the first was Fate, clad in her Barrier Jacket with a cut and singed cheek, Kon, who also sported a few burned cuts on his arms, and Mei-Xing, whose hands were bound behind her with yellow energy.
Yep. We've got a bit of a Situation, guys.

The Major was not surprised, not at all. Then again, she'd been monitoring the movement patterns of the Kryptonians for some time, and when one of them veered off course- the less stable of the two, especially - Motoko took notice. It wasn't that she wanted to kill them...at least not yet.
No one was allowed to have that kind of invulnerability. Oversight demanded at least someone police them.
Naturally, she'd seen the whole thing go down, in a limited fashion, with her own eyes. After they'd left, she'd gotten a fuller picture from the security system.
«I assume you need an assist?»
As if she didn't know.

Always working. Samus liked that.

Why Mei-Xing couldn't have just cloned organs in livestock, like a normal person, was beyond Motoko's comprehension. People don't tend to anthropomorphize pigs to the point where they'd sacrifice one for a human life.
«I took a look at the tank, as well, if you want the medical feed. It's stable, for now.»

Time to see what really happened.

when they cut out of sight, the external view went to a sub-window, the main image replaced by Security Footage (http://community.livejournal.com/trans_9/497132.html?thread=35983340#t35983340), neatly timestamped, that included audio.
The last shot was of Mei-Xing being handled out the door, in cuffs. It was an amateur move that had left no one behind to secure the area, not that she'd expect more from Fate or Kon, even excluding the emotionally charged nature of this conflict. It made the Major's job easy.
«Is that all you'll need?»
After all, two glaring women who could kick your face in are better than one?

Samus wasn't about to ask Motoko for backup, but that didn't mean it wasn't wanted. It simply meant Samus would let her decide whether or not she wanted to come.
She directed her attention back to the three in front of her, "Anything to add before I watch this?"

Even so, they had only attacked when Mei-Xing attacked first, so she was fairly certain they wouldn't be reprimanded that badly. And if they were? Well, that was okay with Fate, as long as that poor girl was taken into safe hands.

"You should have reported it," were the first words out of her mouth.

"But I think what's important right now is what will happen to that girl." She was referring to the clone, of course. "If it's possible, do you think we could wake her up after she's brought to the med bay?"

The way people reacted when they didn't realize they were being watched was always more interesting.
"If you can't see why they're pissed, then you deserve whatever you get," She interrupted, finally, arms folded as she stood just inside and to one side of the doorway. She gave all of them a measured glare. Just here to keep the peace, children.
Or something like that.
"As for what's in the tank, it has no higher brain-function," Her disdain for a lack of thoroughness was completely nonpartisan, "You'll have to take it up with medical to confirm, but on the off-chance it's even capable of consciousness, the term at hand is 'brain-death,' if you'd bothered to pay attention."

"The three of you will be punished accordingly. Get this straight, though, it's for causing a disturbance in the city. I'm not in a place to make any other rulings."
She didn't entirely blame Kon, though. Take away fourteen years of experience, and she probably would have done the same thing. She was turning into her commanding officer, but every teen on the ship was turning into her. This was karma.
