Explorin and such [OTA]
So the first couple of days on the ship? Were more than a little ruttin weird. The sleeping arrangements were just to creepy to even try to sleep much at all and the food tasted to much like the protein he had been eating for months on Serenity. As much as Mal tried to find something to go like he would have done on his own boat he seemed to fail at it either finding the areas restricted in access or just not there. Scrubbing fingers back through his hair he signed and continued his path about one of the busier junctions of the ship.
The Obs deck was where he finally settled at looking up at what was supposed to be the Black but was much more. Oh there had been many times on his ship after Miranda he had sat in the pilot's seat just watching as nothing passed by.. even if this wasn't the same it sort of felt that way. So there he sat, head craned upward slightly staring at space as it flew by. Yep. Totally bothersome as well.

"Holy - what's THAT look for? Did the latest pod pop bring you a Jessica Alba?"

Come ooooon Brenda, come oooooooon!

"Any excuse not to finish this slop."
God, he was like... energetic puppy excited and walking waaaay too fast, she had to skip a bit to keep up. What the hell could it be if not Jessica Alba?

He lead his friend up to the Obs Deck and stepped into the room, gesturing grandly to the man at the window.
"Tah-dah!"

Undignified squeaky noises is an understatement.
She gets out a shout of "HOLY-!" before slamming a hand over her mouth and dithering off into an appropriately fangirlish squeal. She's blushing up to her ears and god DAMN being a red-head cause it SHOWS.
"ohmygodisthatcaptaintightpantspacowhatthehell?!?!"

Okay, this? ALMOST made up for the giant acid-spitting roaches.

"Ah... can I help you?"
Fangirls what? This was a first.

"Uhm... y-you... er..."
Stammering and blushing, way to look smooth Brenda. She gave him a nervous glance up and down(ohholyshitthepantsaresortofactuallytightDON'TSTAREDON'TSTARE) and swallowed hard.
"Malcolm Reynolds? For REAL?"

Trying to laugh and holding onto his bruised shins at the same time was not helpful in staying on his feet, so Paco wound up on the floor, still chuckling to himself.
"Hi," he said to Mal. "I'm Paco, she's Brenda, and welcome to the not-so-good ship Stacy. You've been warned about the alternate universes thing, right?"
no subject
"Nice t' meet you both."
no subject
"I'm uhm, I'm a big fan is all."
no subject
Chuckling, Brenda. Chuckling. He was a guy and thus did not giggle."Nice to meet you too, Captain," he said, still grinning.
no subject
"Gāoyáng zhōng de gūyáng." Raising a hand he ran fingers back through his hair laughing lightly. "So.. in your world I ain't real?"
no subject
She fidgets. "Sorry about the squealing there I just.... blindsided and...
you're even hotter in personbig fan and all that."no subject
He'd noticed that a lot of people seemed to have Superman comic books or TV shows or movies in their universes. They had all those two, but they also had the real thing on top of it.

Shrugging a little the captain let the tension between his shoulders relax some. With his right hand raised he tipped an invisible hat to Brenda, smiling wide. "No problem, miss. No harm was done I assure you." Except giving Mal a larger ego. Wait till Inara heard about this!
Glancing toward Paco, one brow started to raise slightly. "Ah.. no? Must be an old Earth-that-was sorta thing." At least he thought it might have been. Out on the Border there wasn't much need for comics.
no subject
Inside, she went 'jslkdfjfffft invisible hat tipping oh god!'
"Yeaaaah, definetely an 'earth that was' thing." She shook her head at Mal. "Nevermind about it. Actually, nevermind about 90% of stuff Paco says to you."
no subject
"The other ten percent of stuff is totally awesome though, so you have to listen to everything I say," Paco countered playfully.
