Back on the ship...

An army cannot function without any support! Which is exactly why what was going down on the ship was so vital to what was happening planetside. Shuttles between the two managed to bring a few of the crew back up and can be used to send supplies back down. It was a vital service in this time of crisis.

He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Good."

He was about to set her down, but he knew that grip meant she probably wouldn't let go for about fifteen minutes. He looked at her, and gave a sort of sideways grin, then cocked his head to the side. "Now swing around back."

Not that he terribly cared about looking Commandy, but it was easier for him to use his hands if Sherry was piggybacking him for the time being.

Sherry did just that, and rested her head against Leon's shoulder. Her little legs were locked around his waist and her arms around his neck. Barring a blow to the ship or a crowbar, Sherry wasn't going anywhere.
