The Art of Beach Alchemy [Open]
Night had fallen and Ed was out in full force.
Having decided to wait till the evening to make the effort even more spectacular, Ed had waited till the sun had set before performing his alchemy. A fitting tribute and all together frivolous, he clapped his hands.
A ring of energy formed and a statue formed of Alphonse in what he considered to be a heroic pose. He clapped his hands again and more statues formed; Armstrong without his shirt and posing, Fuery looking heroic with gun at his side while petting Den, Breda with a sandwich, Havoc in mid-drag of his ever-present cigarettes, Granny Pinako with her pipe, and even Hoenheim, as much as Ed was frustrated with him deserved a spot on his little beachfront adjustment. May stood at the bottom of the group, hands folded into her sleeves, and Ran Fan's grandfather stood in the final position.
It would stand here on the beach, rimming a set of rocks that he also had transmuted into strong glass and marble. A statement that the Fullmetal Alchemist had been here, and he was leaving his mark across the universe.
Ed grinned as he tapped his sneaker against the sand. "Looks pretty decent," he said to himself.
He felt that he didn't need to add statues of those awake. They being on this planet was enough.

He scratched his head. "Though Queen? Your nation isn't named after you is it? Or am I wondering bout that a little too much?"

"I have noticed that most people are short on formalities on the ship, so I can forgive you, little one. Nanashi bent, picking up some sand and let it slip between her fingers. "Do you think that I might be able to learn this new science from you?"
no subject
Oh now it's the sand. GAAAAAH!
"I could teach you yes," grit out Ed. "But there's major rules to follow with transmutation and science. They'll have to be strictly followed, including the big Don't Even Think About It rule."

"An alchemist must never attempt Human Transmutation. To do so, is to step on the realm of God. And God hates it when we try, and the price is too high. You'll wind up creating a monster. I'll teach you, as long as you promise NEVER to attempt such a feat."

She doubted that would make too much sense to Ed, but that was fine. If he wanted to know she would answer. If not, then he did not need to know that there was a race in her world that called themselves God's messengers, and condemned vampires as being blessed by a devil. Of course, this had created a new human religion.

Ed rubbed his chin. "At the least, I'll pick up some real books, not this crappy mechanical stuff and write an introductory lesson plan. Sound good?"

The thought of getting to use books- normal pieces of paper- made Nanashi's day. "Oh! Yes! I have been meaning to stock up on notebooks as it was!" Nanashi scooped Ed up into a hug. This darling child was offering power, the comforts of home, and science. The only thing that could possibly make her love him more in this instant would be if he was as formal and polite as Dr. Sam Henderson was. Unfortunately, in her excitement, Nanashi did not realize that in her excitement she had pulled the child directly into her chest.

He was still twitching a little with his face directly in her breasts. And god they were huge. It was disconcerting to say the least since he had little experience with this sort of thing and he sort of twitched.
Somewhere out there, Negi Springfield burst out laughing for no apparent reason.

Not only were her breasts huge, the swimsuit she had on had less cloth to it than a bra. Perhaps not significantly less, but still less.
"I will also be willing to go with you to get these supplies. I can carry a lot more than a human woman, in case you are short handed."
Oh, was she good at that. She did not put any emphasis on her puns, letting them seem like a normal part of speech for her. Who knew teasing someone with issues being short could be that much fun?

and magnificent breastsall in one. Ed was trying desperately not to freak out in one way or another as he murmured out, "Edward Elric. Nice t'meet you Queen Nanashi."He rubbed his head. "I'm sure we can get the supplies at the local arts and crafts store. They've got a surprising amount of stuff I needed from there."

She was eager to learn, but if they needed to go to a store that may only be open during the day, that could be a problem. "Are they open in the evening?"

As if such a statement was not a big deal or interesting in any way she went on, "If you give me a moment to get dressed again, I will accompany you there now."

She shook out her dress, getting all the sand out and slipped it over her head, wiggling her way into it. She took her cloak next, shaking that out too, and swinging it onto her shoulders, the red of the red and white coat of arms on the back of the cloak was even more vibrant of a red next to the black and the cold silver embroidery.
Nanashi ran back, her heels in hand. "Whenever you are ready to go, Sensei."

Walking effortlessly despite the fine heel tip and hight Nanashi asked, "What is it that you plan on getting at this store?" Arts and crafts were not exactly what she related with science.

Nanashi was honestly surprised about the arrays though. "I am sorry if I sound rude in any way, but you draw in order to make these chemical changes? I did not see any arrays drawn into the sand, and my eyes do not miss things like that."
no subject
"It's a long story," said Ed, picking up a piece of chalk and inspecting it. Satisfied, he added it to his growing pile of supplies he was putting into an basket. "But it relates to the Forbidden Transmutations."

Nanashi would be a very quick learning student. That is what happens when you do not forget anything that you learn. "I am taking a guess, based on what I already know. Is this right?"
