ROAD TRIP

It was a freaking gorgeous day out on Zokez II, and even though it was all islands, there was some open road. Dean did a last check over on the Impala, making sure everything looked good.

He then yelled to the others, "Come on, we're burning daylight here, let's go."

Kang shook his head, "I don't like it. I'm sure their security is excellent, but not permitting weaponry just seems like it's asking for trouble, especially when some races have natural defenses and others don't."

Paranoid? Maybe a little bit.

"Oh well. We are on vacation; we should relax and enjoy ourselves."

Tanis sat back thinking. "Well if there is trouble at least we weren't banned from fighting hand to hand." He grinned. "And we'll be having some of these cheeseburgers Dean was talking about."

"Cheeseburgers. Human food composed of ground beef topped with melted cheese. Never had one." Hmm. This could prove to be an eye-opening experience, couldn't it? He tapped a finger on the steering wheeling.

"Agree with Kang. Time to relax, enjoy ourselves. Plenty of work still to do when we get back."

"That makes all of us in this vehicle. It'd better taste as good as Dean says it does," Kang chuckled. "I'm still not sure what else I'm going to do here besides restock the tavern."

"Well I'm probably just going to wonder around, though if you want help Kang, guess I'm being dragged around for extra muscle." He was grinning though. "Maybe we'll be able to find something interesting."
