Good news, denizens of the good ship Stacy: Zokez II had quite the night life.
There was a club a short distance from the beach that promised "the hoppingingingest night in the city" in multiple languages (the message got across, at least) and once dusk had fallen you could hear the music from blocks away. Venturing inside would show off an interior design that looked like somebody had fallen in love with the neon black light posters of Earth's 1970s, with brightly colored and oddly shaped couches, stools, tables and bars. Even the drink cups looked like they'd taken a spin in a too-hot dishwasher, all varieties of strange and squiggly shapes. Aliens of all shapes and sizes had taken up along the walls and the holographic dance floor and the good times were certainly rolling.
As was the alcohol.

Here's someterrible mood music.]

"Keep talking like that, and I'll show you what kind of moves I got." Better for kicking your ass she thought.

That's right, Kate. Impress him.

"Well, I was just talking about dancing. But if you want to take this somewhere private and show me what other moves you have, I could be convinced." She can guess what he meant by that.

He eased up his grip on her, letting her back away. "Not like you could kick my ass at much of anything anyway, princess."

Kate backed away, and folded her arms in front of her.
"Only because you know nothing about me."
no subject
"I know all I need to."

Kate looked a bit uncomfortable and Tony frowned, his hackles rising. Maybe it was the wolf in him or maybe it was the macho ideas he'd grown up around. Either way, he didn't particularly like the look Julian was giving her. He shifted forward to tap Julian on the shoulder. "Hey, pendejo, I think you should leave."

"Cutting in, Tony? Go right ahead," She walked over to him, and laid a hand on his shoulder.
no subject
"But you kept him off the leash. You should be careful with that, wouldn't want him to make a mess anywhere."
no subject
"Rather be a dog than a sleaze-bag. 'least a dog can have friends."

He clapped Tony on the shoulder, then looked over at Kate. "Princess," he stated, by way of good-bye, and walked off.

"...Prick."

She yelled after Julian, hoping that every woman he tried to hit on heard her, "YOU SAD PATHETIC ASSHOLE! HOPE IT FEELS GOOD THAT YOU ONLY USE WOMEN AND INSULT PEOPLE TO MAKE UP FOR YOUR SAD LIFE!"
She sighed, and turned back to Tony, "Sorry, I know he's not worth it, but he really deserves a beatdown one of these days."
no subject
Still, he looked pleased. "Nice string of insults you got there, though. And... uh..."
He was still a bit awkward about this sort of thing. "...I like the dress."
no subject
She reached out to touch his hand, "Thanks. Want to dance?"

"And it's a lot better than that guy."
no subject
"...if I ever look like that, put me down for m'own good."

She laughed more, "Sure. Got some tranq arrows."
