Free Hugs, anyone~?

Too much doom and gloom on the ship? Easily fixed, if you ask this mechanic.

There is a table in the mess hall, carefully set up just inside one of the doors, with a small sign on top reading, "Free Hugs!" Next to the sign, looking as smiley as she possibly can, sits Kaylee, ready to hug anyone and everyone who walks through the door.

Non-huggers beware, even you are in danger of some cheering up today.

Kang laughed as well, "Somehow I doubt a lot of the people that are most in need are going to let you."

"Well, maybe if they see everybody else havin' fun they'll jump in. If not, I'll just run up and snag 'em into one anyhow."

"You would, too, wouldn't you. Make sure you don't spook anyone too badly," Kang grinned, not making any move towards her. She was going to have to initiate, if she wanted a hug from him.

"Depends on the person. Some ain't for it, but I can always toss some encouragin' words their way instead. 'Cept for you, you don't got a choice."

Oh, Kang knew this was coming. He wasn't really one for public displays of affection as big as a hug, even with his mate, but he might as well get it over with. He didn't really mind too much, , though, since Kaylee was family.

"...I suppose I don't. Make it quick," he teased.

"Quick as can be," she laughed, and wrapped her arms neatly around his middle. The hug lasted a few seconds longer than 'quick as can be,' but that's alright. It wasn't going to kill him now, was it.

Kang chuckled and returned the hug, not surprised when she held on for as long as she did. "I don't let many people do this."
