Itadakimasu~! [OPEN PARTY]

If the Mess Hall normally smelled like anything, it was the bland, flavorless glop that the crew was accustomed to eating. But if you were to pass by the room today, you might notice a different smell. A good smell - the smell of actual food.

Nanoha Takamachi and Miku Hinasaki have been hard at work cooking up a feast of authentic homemade Japanese cuisine, and the entire ship is invited. Have at it!

(ooc: Thread amongst yourselves; Nanoha and Miku will be tagging around and making sure everyone's having a good time, but it's a party!

There's pretty much every type of Japanese cuisine here that they thought non-Japanese would enjoy/be familiar with: Hand-rolled sushi, some gyoza potstickers, udon bowls, agedashi tofu, and a variety of other dishes. If you're familiar with it, they probably made some.)

Alessa sighed. "I did not mean you annoyed me. I would tell you if you did, but you don't. But its as I said: sometimes you have to know when to have it, sometimes you have to know when it won't help you, that is all. Besides, your optimism suits you."

Having a friend was a bit more than Alessa though. Simply being herself, she had a tendency to make Sasami feel as if she were constantly angering her, which was just the opposite.

"I would not share it," Alessa said, "except in your company anyway."

A sheepish smile formed on Sasami's face. She should have realized that she wasn't annoying Alessa, but at the same time, she was still worried about offending someone by her actions. Perfectly reasonable, really.

"That's good to know, though...!" Sasami said. "I just don't like upsetting people, that's all. Like you said, it's how I am!"

A slight chuckle left her lips as she heard what Alessa had said at the end.

"Well, then! I wouldn't mind that at all! I'll make sure to make enough for just the two of us to have one day, okay?"

"I usually don't have a problem upsetting people," Alessa said, "But I don't like it when the ones that are upset are people I actually bother to care about. So unless I tell you that something you're doing is bothering me, you shouldn't worry about it.

"Okay," Alessa said, looking forward to it. "How are you adjusting so far?"

Sasami nodded a bit at what Alessa said. "Okay, I'll remember that next time."

"I'm doing alright so far. It's still a lot to take in, though. How about you? Are you doing okay?"

Yeah, silly question, but it didn't hurt to ask.

"Good," Alessa said. "You don't have to worry on my account. It's unnecessary."

She looked thoughtful a moment. "I'll be doing better when we have another mission. Demons really can't stay restless for too long, they start to strike out just to have something to do. Other than that, I'm fine. Things are progressing well with Shadow even."

And here Alessa can;t hide the small, secret smile on her face.

Sasami's eyes went wide, noticing the smile on Alessa's face. She couldn't help but giggle at that. She couldn't help it - she had a big idea as to what she meant and there was no use asking if it was the right one.

"I'm so happy for you, Alessa!" Sasami said. "It's great to have someone close...!" she closed her eyes, held her hands close and let out a sigh, a slight blush forming on her cheeks. "Maybe one day I could find someone like that...! That would be so wonderful..."

And now, the girl was a bit lost in her day dream as she let out a few giggles as her imagination went wild. Mind bringing her back?

"Mmm," Alessa said, although she wondered what exactly Sasami was thinking about when she mentioned Shadow. "He and I are both very peculiar people, we just happened to find each other one day. For you it might be a little bit different. If it can happen, I suppose I could try finding a suitable person for you."

Noticing her spacing out, Alessa prodded Sasami. "What sort of people diod you date in your world anyway?"

[identity profile] saint-sami.livejournal.com 2010-05-26 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Sasami jumped a bit at Alessa's prodding, giggling in embarrassment as she did.

"Eheheh... s-sorry!" she said, scratching the back of her head. "Though, me? Date? I..." Sasami looked down and shuffled her feet in embarrassment. "...I never did that before. Being a princess doesn't really let you do all those sort of things..."

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2010-05-26 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Alessa was amused at Sasami's reaction: the girl was still adjusting to this ship, and taht would never be easy.

"You have the opportunity now," Alessa said. "You are no longer a princess. Why not find someone that you care for in that manner? I'm told it is a nice feeling to have."

Even with Shadow, she knew there were things that hindered it being a relationship anyone considered normal. "I can find one. It shouldn't be too hard."

[identity profile] saint-sami.livejournal.com 2010-05-26 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
"Y-You would? R-Really?" Sasami said, her big pink eyes blinking in surprise. Alessa would really do that for her? "I-I.."

A small smile formed on her face. "...that would be nice, I think... yeah, it would."

It would probably be a bit odd for her to have someone, but right now? Without her family? She wouldn't mind having someone close.

Alessa shook her head. Sasami really seemed to nice for her own good. She may have to keep an eye on her, just in case anyone tried to use that nature for their own purposes. Unless they were children, Alessa had a tendency not to trust most humans.

"I will do my best. I can hardly see why anyone would not want to have you as a person to care about anyway. You're a great deal more interesting than most on the ship. How DID you become princess?"
