Itadakimasu~! [OPEN PARTY]

If the Mess Hall normally smelled like anything, it was the bland, flavorless glop that the crew was accustomed to eating. But if you were to pass by the room today, you might notice a different smell. A good smell - the smell of actual food.

Nanoha Takamachi and Miku Hinasaki have been hard at work cooking up a feast of authentic homemade Japanese cuisine, and the entire ship is invited. Have at it!

(ooc: Thread amongst yourselves; Nanoha and Miku will be tagging around and making sure everyone's having a good time, but it's a party!

There's pretty much every type of Japanese cuisine here that they thought non-Japanese would enjoy/be familiar with: Hand-rolled sushi, some gyoza potstickers, udon bowls, agedashi tofu, and a variety of other dishes. If you're familiar with it, they probably made some.)

Tsukasa chewed on the meat for a second, considering his response. "And you think it's mine?" He answered. "I do well enough, but I am a jack of all trades. I fight well at short, medium, and long range, but I don't excel in any particular spot. Now the early Riders, like Ichigo, Nigo, and V3, they were masters of unarmed combat."

Tsukasa chuckled, but mentally, Well, the name 'V3' isn't causing any reactions that I can tell, so I guess Kazami's better at keeping secrets than I am, ran through his mind.

"So, where did you learn to cook?" He asked, wanting to change the subject to something not related to him getting his lower anatomy repackaged and sent to him...postage due.

She's not going to change into a Worm, is she? Tsukasa thought, looking up. In response, though, he said, "Sounds nice. I met a family running a ramen shop during my travels; I think you'd get along with them." Of course, she seems to get along with everyone, but still...

"Well...the elder brother, sadly, was trapped in 'Clock Up.' He was basically stuck at near-lightspeeds. His sister was really sweet, and his grandmother...well, if you ever meet her, you'll know. She's rather larger than life." Tsukasa chuckled. The time he spent in the World of Kabuto was enjoyable, even more-so now that he had regained his memories of his little sister.

Why don't you give me something easier, like explaining high-end physics? Tsukasa thought, to give himself a second to construct an answer.

"Clock Up...well, to put it as simply as I can, it is a method to allow the Riders of the World of Kabuto to accelerate to the same speeds as their enemies, the Worms. And as for how you get stuck in it...I never really did find out."

Tsukasa gave a small smile, since he couldn't tell if that went entirely over her head or not. But, in response, he said, "You mean like how I've never heard of a mage that packs more firepower than most battle mecha?"

She's flattered? Tsukasa blinked, but then decided to press on with questions of his own.

"So, you mentioned that you practice the 'Mid-Childa' magic style, right? What are the other styles called? Are there major differences between them?

Hm...fascinating. I theorized that there was a difference in styles from what I heard, but to have close and long range combat be so differentiated is new for me.

"'Cartridges?' Are those the things I saw ejecting out of your staff earlier?"
