Training Day

As per the Chief's message, it was training time. Everyone who signed up for training (or was signed up by someone else) was ordered to an open square in the City.

Yes, the City, instead of the sensoriums. That meant that any weapons used would be real. And every bit of damage that they dealt would be real. As would the injuries. Though there didn't seem to be any weapons around, and there were no targets set up.

Interesting, that.

Anyway, in the square was the Chief of Security, who was busy marking off names of people who arrived early or on time. Anyone who figured that they could skip out, though, there is now an unhappy seven foot fully armed and armored Spartan hunting you down.

"I am Gray Voice." The Chozo said, nodding slightly to Nanoha, and then again to V3. His eyes stayed on V3 for a moment. "With a suit such as that, I would assume you would be participating." He observed.

"My name is Kamen Rider V3." He pauses for a bit, then nods. "Calling me just V3 is fine. A pleasure to meet both of you."

He looks at Gray Voice for a moment, as if not comprehending what he means. Then he straightens, pounding his fist into his hand. "Oh! No, this isn't a suit. I am a remodeled human." He hesitates for a moment, looking out over the trainees. "A cyborg, I mean. And before I dive into training with everyone else, I need to see where they're at." V3 turns his head to Gray Voice again, and his voice is almost a smile. "I have been fighting for twelve years now. Just jumping into their first training session would only pull time away from someone who might need it more."

"That's awfully considerate of you," she nodded. "I used to be a combat instructor back home, but I think their methods are probably more relevant to most of the trainees than anything I have to teach, personally."

He shrugs a bit, directing his gaze back to the trainees. "Nanoha... Takamachi Nanoha of the TSAB, I presume?" He interlaces his fingers and rests his chin on them. "I heard you were a teacher of magic. Not much else."

"Oh, yep - that's me! I was a magical combat instructor in the TSAB back home. I taught more on the proper ways to use magic as a team more than teaching how to use it in the first place, but you're close enough."

"Ah. I don't have a lot of experience with magic, I'm sorry."

V3 looks over the crowd, spotting the folks running this entire event, and makes an approving noise. "At least someone knows how to do this. I'm not sure I'd want to try training anyone, especially not here. It's necessary, but I think I'm out of my league with this crowd."
