The thing you should know is that everyone is in really big trouble. Yeah. Even you.

Ax had escaped the Controllers on board. Brainy had not been so lucky. Neither had Sam and Tim. And who knew how many others on board had Yeerks wrapped around their brains, controlling their every movement, pretending that everything was normal until the time came to strike.

Who do you trust, podlings?

"....great, I'm the mature one here. You, stop bugging him," Bee pointed to the Master, "You, stop complaining' he pointed to the Doctor, "And both of you grow up so we can solve the problem and fix the ship."

"Listen Y-reg, it's not my fault he immediately went to that subject," he turns back to the Doctor, "I wasn't talking about Gallifrey. Well, not just Gallifrey. Anyway, it sounds like you still have some demons to exorcise."

Oh, he does just love twisting that knife.

The Doctor stands up, a little wobbly, muttering, "Be mature, I just woke up from a healing trance after a slug tries to take over my body, only to find the Master taunting me about massively sensitive life experiences, and he wants me to be mature?"

To Bee he says, "He's the one ought be mature, you know, he's the old one. Make him be mature, I'm plenty mature."

Deciding he's not as steady on his feet as he'd like, he braces himself. With a hand on the Master's head.

"In case you guys haven't noticed? I got shot in chest. I am not happy about that fact. I am also not happy about that fact that I sound like Ratchet. So, at this point, I don't really care whether or not you think you're being mature or not. So quit acting like a couple of protoforms and work on solving the problem at hand here."

Oh Doctor, that hand so just cost you a regeneration, somewhere down the line. And you don't have all that many left--

"He does have a point. I'd forgotten he was shot. Are we supposed to care? Also, might I point out that I have said slug in my hand and he's telling me he's quite willing to go back in there if you'll stop whining?"

Don't worry Bee. They'll get there-- eventually.

For now the hand is all that's ensuring that the current regeneration stays standing, so it stays where it is. He's never really been one for planning for the future, though, has he?

"Shot?" The Doctor frowns. He ought to have remembered that. "Are you all right?"

Look, Bee, the Doctor's paying attention! Even when it means ignoring the Master!

"Sort of. It didn't hit any of my essential parts, but I'm gonna need to get a repair at some point soon."

The Master, meanwhile, has been telepathically conversing with (aka torturing) the Yeerk in his possession, "You'll have to hold on a little longer. They have something hooked up to Stacy, impairing her defensive capabilities. By the sounds of it, there's more than just these two knocking about and their friends might have had better luck elsewhere."

He stands up, Doctor's hand be damned! "I can have this one lead the way, but you'll need to keep an eye on sleeping beauty there."

When the Master stands, the Doctor about falls over, but manages to catch himself, shooting a glare at his fellow Time Lord. 'Stop it,' the glare says to the Master.

"You can stay behind if you like," the Doctor says to Bee, "No doubt that would be easier, not as damaging to whatever part of your systems have been... er... damaged."

"Yeeah, that ain't happenin'. Say what you will about me, but I am one stubborn 'bot. This isn't gonna keep me down."

Have an indulgent eyeroll, Doctor, "Oh for God's sake, just because someone's talking it doesn't mean they're talking about you, Ms. Hilton. I was talking about him."

The Master points out the comatose lump that used to be West to Bumblebee, "I'd rather he didn't wake up and decide to come spring his little buddy here. Just-- carry him. You look like a strapping lad."

Seems all that time spent as Prime Minister/ruler of the world taught him a thing or two about authority. Time was when the Master was happy to skulk in the shadows, try on snazzy disguises, all that mumbo-jumbo. Guess he just doesn't have the attention span for that these days.

"Alright," he says to the slug, gesturing theatrically, "Lead the way."
