Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing

The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.

The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.

[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

Billy's face falls. Now he understands the root of Jamie's worry, or at least he thinks he does.

"We'll never know. You very well may have become a great hero in the Highlands." Billy is privately nursing doubts about the same thing---but it's not fair to Jamie to keep them private, so he'll share. "Just as I could've been a scientist someday if I was never a Power Ranger. There are people here from all sorts of backgrounds. There most likely still would have been room for us."

Billy sighs. "If only this were a tangible threat that I could remove. The only other piece of advice I received was to maintain bonds with each other for grounding, no matter how bad the fears become."

"Aye, Billy," Jamie says, looking a little less gloomy. "I suppose ye might be right, at that." He's glad to know that there was still a chance he could be here, and have met the people he met. Especially those he considers to be friends, like Billy.

Jamie would also be much happier if it was a tangible threat. He doesn't like the fact that it's not. It's so much easier to fight something that you can see and touch, after all. "Grounding?" he asks, sounding a little puzzled. "What would that be?"
