Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing

The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.

The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.

[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

Jono shrugged, holding out the bag. Figured, seein' as it was the holidays an' all. Least was back there.

And Keller's his roommate, so it's kind of as close as he has to a friend on the ship. Sad as THAT was.

Inside the bag were a couple of t-shirts and...CDs. Not really of any band Julian had probably heard of, it being another world and all, but it seemed about right from what he'd heard the guy play back at the school. Nothin' big. Jus', y'know. Jono shrugged again, clearly a little uncomfortable.

"Uh... thanks." Julian honestly hadn't expected anything from Jono. Even though he did at least get him something. "And... here." Reaching into one of his bags, he pulled out a vest. It was black and leather, which seemed Chamber's style so... yeah.

Have that.

Jono took the vest, turning it over in his hands. It was nice work. Waistcoats weren't usually his thing, but it was leather and it felt and smelled nice.

The USA embroidery on the back was...slightly off putting. But Jono had a lot of experience in schooling his expressions. Uh. Thanks, he said, echoing Julian. Ain't roightly sure what t' say, honestly.

Yer usually the one doin' the huggin', so can't say as I'm too bothered by 'at. Jono looked up with a wry expression. Really. Thank you.

So he wouldn't wear it. It was the thought that counted, right?

... Something like that, at least.
