Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing

The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.

The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.

[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

Nori didn't really know why she'd hung around when they'd been ushered back. Maybe it was because she was curious to see what other weird people were around, or maybe it was because she was still hoping someone she knew was in the group that had gone to this parallel earth. It'd be like them, after all. Every one of her team were the kind of people who'd jump into something, rather than hang back.

She was skirting the edge of the crowd when she did finally see a familiar face that wasn't Bobby Drake. Inside she was extremely relieved to see that at least one person she knew and was kind of friends with was okay. Outwardly she just smirked a little. She dodged around people, moving towards him slightly faster than just a casual pace, she called out to him.

"Julian!"

He looked over when he heard some girl shout his name, and he was about to say.... something. At least until he noticed that head of electric blue hair heading towards him.

"...Nori?!"

What the hell was she doing here?

She let herself smile a little more as she got closer to him and slowed down, her gauntlet clad hands coming up to rest on her hips.

"Glad to see Iceman and I aren't the only people from our world here." She'd much rather be back in their own world, but if it was destroyed like she was hearing people say, well. One evil is less than another.

He was actually... kinda happy to see Nori. Calling them friends would be a stretch, but he knew she'd have his back in a pinch.

And they were in one hell of a pinch right now.

"Iceman's here?" Well, that was... something. Admittedly, he hadn't been thrilled with any of the X-men since the big west coast move, but he'll take what he can get.

"Well, Chamber is around, and so is Meg. And Jean Grey, though she's from an alternate universe, or something, so she's not dead." Or if she is, she is one ridiculously hot zombie. "At least we're not completely on our own."

She looked a little more relieved to hear there were others from their world, although she had never met Jean, and she had never really associated with Chamber, either. It was still nice to know there were probably others in the weird pods, and that they were okay.

"You've been here a while?"

It's not like Julian hung around them much either. Outside of Meg, the rest were just people who are or were X-Men that he hoped would actually be helpful at some point. Not that the X-Men were doing a bang-up job of protecting them recently anyway.

"Yeah. Too long, really. Someone already give you the rundown of what's going on?"

"I know what's going on, yeah." And was she happy about it? Of course not. First random abductions and being turned into explosive weapons, and now more random abductions but with the added spice of 'your world is probably gone' and 'you are the chosen one!'

Nori was pretty much growing to resent this hero business.
