It's nice to get a chance to relax together
Meluly had gone along cooperatively with Katara, following the girl to her room. Getting along so well has left a little skip in her step, and she slides the door behind them shut before momentarily claiming Toph's bed to perch on the edge of, watching Katara with a vague, pleasant expression. Her body language is halfway tense, halfway languid in odd increments, not quite sure of what she wants, but happy enough with anything that comes along.

And here she just hugged Meluly closer, and smiled. "I'm sure she'll be responsive to you. How could she not?"

She stretches just a little. "I know she will... eventually. I hope."

And here she hugs Meluly, holding her close.
"She will. I know she will."

And, with the lights off, she wiggles back, bumping her nose against Katara's.

"Thank you," She said softly. "Be careful?"

"Not always, but I can make an exception," the girl said, smiling. "You're okay."
And she smiled at Meluly.

But observing what Meluly says about the suit, she does wriggle out of it herself until she's in her white underwear, which she's still kept after all this time. She stares at the tattoos a little, circling the patterns with the tip of her finger.
"One day, I'd like to have one of these," Katara says, her head next to Meluly's.

She's a bit startled as to what she finds in the room, but she just shrugs.
"I'm not even going to ask," she mutters before unzipping her own suit and falling into bed with a thud.

"I'll explain in the morning," she murmurs, looking peaceful.
no subject
"Uh-huh."
Then she rolls over and gets as comfortable as she can in the squishy bed. (She really wishes she had a stone bed.)
It's not that she doesn't care about what's going on with Katara: she's just... tired.

"Thanks for rooming with me Toph," Katara murmured. "I missed you."
