It's nice to get a chance to relax together

Meluly had gone along cooperatively with Katara, following the girl to her room. Getting along so well has left a little skip in her step, and she slides the door behind them shut before momentarily claiming Toph's bed to perch on the edge of, watching Katara with a vague, pleasant expression. Her body language is halfway tense, halfway languid in odd increments, not quite sure of what she wants, but happy enough with anything that comes along.

Katara, who is more than a little tired by this time, rubs her eyes and yawns, nestling aganst the taller woman.

"I'll explain in the morning," she murmurs, looking peaceful.

Another yawn comes from Toph.

"Uh-huh."

Then she rolls over and gets as comfortable as she can in the squishy bed. (She really wishes she had a stone bed.)

It's not that she doesn't care about what's going on with Katara: she's just... tired.

Katara is similarly tired. It's been a long day, and there's just too much to get into.

"Thanks for rooming with me Toph," Katara murmured. "I missed you."

Meluly wiggles against Katara, not wanting to interrupt the nudging little conversation as she gets comfortable. She does reach to trace her fingers lightly across Katara's face, though. "I'll tell you about them tomorrow," she murmurs, and nestles her head in against Katara's shoulder again.

"Neat," Katara murmured, and curked up against the girl, slowly starting to nod off. Her last thoughts were something about cool purple hair.
