Magical Mystery Tour [Open]

If she were to create an entire new department, Nanoha reasoned that they would need a place to meet, to gather, train and to work ... whatever it was that they would be working on. As the Science Department had their laboratories and the Medical Department their medical bay, the girl had been busy searching the ship and the City for a place that felt... spiritual. Nanoha supposed that she could have chosen anywhere and they would have been able to make do, but perhaps the other volunteers would need someplace more conductive to the study and working of magical and mystical arts.

The ziggurat off to the side of the City caught her eye as she soared past it, for it seemed oddly like something she'd seen in the Sensoriums, back when she'd met Luke Skywalker. As she neared it, Nanoha realized it felt the same, too - there was a little tingle in her spine that wasn't quite any magic she was aware of, but it... felt almost familiar, and warm.

She touched down, the wings fading from her heels as she walked toward the structure, a smile appearing on her face. This place... it felt almost perfect.

"Hello! Is anyone here?" She called out - if it were occupied, of course, she'd look somewhere else.

Rikku was lost. Hopelessly so. It wasn't too unusual, the Al Bhed having a poor sense of direction to begin with, and being in a new place didn't help. So when she heard a familiar voice calling out, she jogged towards it. Upon seeing who it was, Rikku blinked in surprise. "Hey!" she called to Nanoha, trying to catch up to her, "Wait up!"

At least it was someone she knew, and who could probably take her back later.

Rikku scratched her head. "Well, not exactly," she admitted with a small chuckle, "I'm sort of... lost." She shrugged innocently. "I'm not good with new places, I guess."

Alessa had made it her private mission to look around for places out of the ordinary, if only to learn more about them. She was still looking for a place to make Silent Hill, but so far the common places on the ship were unsuitable. She was still eyeing places though, and was sure she would find a place soon. As it turned out, the Jedi Temple was a place taht had made her head turn: she, like many of the magical users on the ship, felt a pull here, and so she lingered, running her hands over the architecture and observed the openings around the place.

When she heard the calling, she looked up and saw a familiar face.

"Hello Nanoha. What brings you here?"

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes, it certainly does feel that way," Alessa replied although she definitely wouldn't have used the term mystical. It wasn't really a word she was familiar with. Still, there was certainly something different here, in this place.

"What is the purpose of this sanctum?"

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
Alessa looked around, noticing that there were other people starting to come.

"Perhaps they know. It's certainly some place of study, that much is true."

Arha sat at the dead center of the temple, meditating, when she first felt a tangle of presence and then heard someone call out. Her eyes snapped open and she moved to her feet. This had always been one of her favorite places to meditate and the calm ease of the Force seemed to be particularly pleasant here.

She moved silently down the steps and waved at the young woman.

"I am here," she said, flashing a smile.

"I am Arha Masaari, Jed-Eye Paddyone to Obi-Wan Kenobi," she said with a nod, "and I am pleased to meet you. This is a good quiet place to be. Have you, too, come to meditate?" Her glance was curious but warm, too. "Such a place as this is often most pleasant for meditation."

While Chris never entered the city portion of the ship let alone this part of it, Chris decided to explore certain areas of the city to check some things out. Just in case. Spying a girl around his age, he gave a slight wave.

"Hi, there."

[identity profile] hero-sting.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Chris tried unsuccessfully to chuckle at Nanaho's energetic demeanor. "Pretty much. I've never actually been in the city portion of Stacy so I thought I'd check it out. I'm Chris Ramirez. You?"

Fate had been wandering around the City for a while now. She wasn't really searching for anything specific... just looking. Despite being sent on missions to many different kinds of planets, most of it looked so new to her. Well, that just goes to show how massive the universes can be.

She was not far from the ziggurat when she heard a familiar voice call out, and turned in that direction. "Nanoha?"

[identity profile] thunder-ace.livejournal.com 2009-12-10 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
Fate laughed a little as Nanoha flew over to her. It seemed her friend was taking advantage of the lack of laws restricting flight, like those on Mid-Childa. Not that Fate was complaining, of course! She loved watching(and joining) Nanoha as she flew.

Shaking her head a little to clear her thoughts, she did her best to ignore that familiar teasing expression. "I didn't want to bother you. You had something planned for today, right?"

Matt was there, sitting on a rock and playing his guitar. He was working on a slightly dark piece as he strummed. It wasn't Will to Love but rather a darker piece he came up with when he was thinking of what he had to hide.

"Didn't know I couldn't fly / Didn't want to step off the ground..."

Adjusting his guitar, he added, "The Demon in Me... hmm..."

[identity profile] lackofdarkwings.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Matt looked up and smiled at her. "This? Naw, it's something else I cooked up. The one I'm working on refining is The Will To Love. This one's called The Demon In Me which sort of reflected my mood when thinking about all the things I hid."
