New and Interesting Smells [Open]
Bella's been exploring since she's been given freedom to roam a zombieless ship again. Lots of strange new places to investigate, to smell, to look at.
Mostly to smell.
The werewolf's wandering all over the ship, investigating new smells and refamiliarizing herself with the conglomerate scent of "crew", now that it has a few new members.
It's also helping her relax. They're here with her. She is not alone. They're like a sort of almost-pack, and that helps her hold on. Things will be okay as long as she isn't alone. Her thoughts are a little agitated still, but she's adapting and moving on.
To anyone else's eyes, there's a wolf wandering around without any sign of a collar or other restraint. She seems calm.

Finally it begins
"It must be difficult to grow accustomed to so many new smells."
Re: Finally it begins
"I must learn them. That is all. Smells that are part of the crew-smell," she explains.
"You are new," she adds simply, with a somewhat blunt but undemanding note of curiosity.

"I am." Satori bows politely in greeting. "Satori Komeiji of the Palace of the Earth Spirits, youkai and mind-reader."

"What are these last two things you say?"

Goliath will fight a wolf if he has to, but with food so plentiful and no clan (or humans) to protect, there would be no reason for him to fight this one. Goliath observes the creature quietly. It would seem he is not the only pack animal that has awoken without companions of his own kind, so he thinks.

That... whatever that is. That thing. It has to be the source of it.
The wolf pauses for a moment after seeing him before she speaks. "What are you?"
Her first instinct about things like this is usually "something bad that I should smash" but she's started to get better at that what with wall tentacles.

"I am a gargoyle." His wings are folded across his chest, a display of non-aggression. "And I could ask you the same thing."

"I am Goliath." He stands where he is, doing nothing so much as looming at his full height of nearly 9 feet. "And you are correct. I awoke in the Statuary but a few nights ago."
He thinks of Wags.
"I have already met one of your kind."

"What are you, creature?" she asks him bluntly, fur prickling up. She vaguely remembers something about him and lightning from the big fight with the zombies, but she was largely busy with her own affairs.

An inhalation of deep-voiced bellows, followed by a soft snort. Haku smells you, wolf.

Bella pauses at the display of teeth, tempted to return it, but errs on the side of caution and ducks her head a bit in a show of how she is not a threat. She's learned a bit since waking up, it does no good to go picking fights with others in the crew.
"Hello," she says, her own nose twitching at Haku's smell. She can't quite place it... and why does she think of running water?
no subject
"Hello," the reply in a voice that only passably resembled the river's other form's. That sinuous turned his head to examine her with one eye, then the other, "Who are you?"
no subject
"Who are you?"
no subject
"The god of the Kohaku River," He intoned, cautiously adding, "I am called Haku, by some. What are you seeking?"

"How are you, Sir?" she says, wagging a little bit. Bella likes Javert as well as Bella really likes anybody on the ship. He is Alpha of the team, so she listens to him.

"I am well." He pulls long-unused social skills into service. "I trust you are, as well?" He sounds stiff and awkward, asking.

Bella's job in life is very simple. As long as she can successfully beat the hell out of anything threatening her and the people she's loyal to, she's happy.
