Slobo stood back with Superbike and surveyed his work. On a street in the city, he had rigged a PA system with speakers from Outsider's Plaza. Static would probably be unhappy with that, but it's worth it. On either end of the street a red line is drawn in spray-paint. Everything was set, now he made the call and waited.

"The encroaching Darkness," he replied simply. It was vague enough to be anything...but he knew she'd know, "You are not the only one."

"It's nice to know that," she says, "but it would be nicer to know what is being done, to avoid duplication of effort."

Just....a look. Haku knows what he's doing.

"Show me," Haku began— but cut himself off as Slobo finally began talking, explaining what they were doing here, "Later, if you like."

"Yes," she says bluntly, and turns to pay attention to Slobo.

Haku knows what he's doing, but that doesn't mean he knows what she's doing.
