Outsiders Training, Spectators Welcome [Please wait for appropriate sub-threads]

Slobo stood back with Superbike and surveyed his work. On a street in the city, he had rigged a PA system with speakers from Outsider's Plaza. Static would probably be unhappy with that, but it's worth it. On either end of the street a red line is drawn in spray-paint. Everything was set, now he made the call and waited.

[Just a quick post with your character showing up]

Haku was annoyed. Then again, he was usually annoyed these days, but today he was annoyed because he could no longer smell the pervasive stink of flesh all around him. He'd adjusted.

Haku did not want to adjust.

So, despite that Slobo had done nothing particularly wrong, he got an icy stare as Haku approached on foot. Well, maybe this would be distracting.

Sokka sauntered in, his (now usual) sword and shotgun slung across his back.

"Heya, Slo'. What's up?"

"Alright, Chalky, I adjusted to roster again. Cissie is listed now. You're sure she agreed to join?" Static said as he ambled over. He looked around before it hit him.

"You stole those speakers from the Plaza, didn't you?"

Well now, this was good. Rose would get a chance to see just what the other Outsiders were made of. She had no problem with her skills, but when she wasn't found in the pool she was generally in the sensorium getting a workout.

It didnt take her long to reach the marked out areas. Her katana's marking her own personal space out on either side of her. A routine of impressive flexibility and muscle control took her in quick movements around a small circle.

Stretching and waking her muscles for whatever was to come, unlike her waking from the pods there was some warning with this challenge. Also unlike that fight, this was not likely to be lethal. Rose bent and twisted, a flip letting her scoop up one blade before her feet touched down by the other. Fingers closed on the hilt and both blades flashed up before her, cutting the air with a sharp short whistle.

She really needed to get an on ship hobby.

You're getting a mild stare yourself, Haku, as Roxie approaches. But, then, that's just one of the things she does.

Haku sees Roxie's stare and bets you a glare. You don't seem right, and he doesn't like it.

"Yes?"

You don't seem right to her, either.

Shadow wasn't thrilled over the sudden announcement, but seeing as he had yet to meet some of the other members of the group, he decided to join in. Besides, maybe those in the group would be just as good as either himself or that Nanoha woman.

"So, training, huh? I hope you can make it worthwhile."

As he stopped, he looked over at the other members. Hello, Outsiders. Meet Slobo's possible mass hallucination!

The moment she saw Slobo's message, Katara got excited. She had been spending the last few days exercising in the Sensoriums, but now she saw that she actually had something to do, she was anxious to see what the other Outsiders could do.

She rushed over to the city and was happy to see her brother, Roxie, Rose and Static assembling. The others she didn't know, but she would make sure to introduce herself soon. She waved to them excitedly, and then looked around at the red paint.

"What's going on?"

Nanoha had been doing some warm-up flying in the sky above for a good fifteen or so minutes, though she wasn't yet in her Barrier Jacket. She touched down on the ground, the shimmering wings on her heels fading from sight as she stood back, a bit behind the others.

She wondered what sort of training they had prepared.

Nanoha might have agreed, but she couldn't deny it was impressive.

"Do you always pick up your swords like that?" Maybe it was a little bit teasing - just a little bit.

Rose grinned and sheathed the blades after a gratuitous flourish. "Not always, just when I'm feeling saucy."

Ravager nodded to the new girl, well new to her anyway. "I'm Rose."

"Hey Katara." Rose gave a wave from a few feet away.

She smiled back. "My name's Nanoha. It's nice to meet you, Rose. You look like you handle those well!"

"Nanoah, part o our band of rejects and throw aways huh?" It might have come off as an insult if it wasn't for the note of pride she seemed to take in it.

"You been awake on the ship long?"

"You could say something like that. I thought it was a good idea of them to set it up."

"I've been awake for a while, just... not around here. An AI had me running mazes alongside Dr. McNinja for a few months before letting us out in the middle of the crisis."

"Wait wait wait...Dr McNinja?" Rose eyed her as if waiting for the punchline. None was forthcoming and she looked stunned.

"You're serious? There is someone here called Doctor McNinja?"

"Well, his family is the McNinjas, and he's a Doctor, so..."

Well, Pirogoeth DID say she was checking it out. So here she was. She looked around at everyone, wanting to see just who else was a part of this group.

So there was training to be done. In the city. In the damn CITY. He hated that city.

But Shadow Link did come.

He was just sulking in that shadow of the building over there.

Guess what, Shadow Link, you're not lurking alone.

Nodding to his fellow Hyrulean from that shadow just to the boy's right, Sheik murmurs a quiet, "Shadow. What do you suspect they will have us doing?"

Katara gave her a smile and waved back. "Hey Rose! Good to see you again! Do you have any idea what we're going to do today?"

A long, long thinking look. And then, as hard as stone, "Are you the one called 'Roxie'?"
