Explorinating the countryside

They've taken note of the rule that people shouldn't go anywhere alone. Brainiac 5 has opted for one of the Kryptonians to accompany him as backup as he explores. The problem is, both are equally annoying, so he winds up using a randomization program om his ominocom to...well, essentially flip a coin to see who to ask to come with him.

It winds up being Supergirl. This is why the green-skinned Coluan and the blonde Kryptonian are wandering through the living area--and the city--exploring. If you can stop them from bickering a moment, you might even get a conversation out of them.

"I've yet to see anything resembling a control panel or console. This is somewhat alarming."

"My parents built a portal to the ghost zone. Didn't work. AFter they game up on it my best friend dared me to go inside it, and I did. And theb accidentally turned it on because my Dad, while a fairly good inventor, has almost no common sense and forgot to use the on switch that he had put on the inside the portal. So, the thing opened up while I was still inside it, got exposed to a massive amount of ectoplasmic eneregy that atered my body at the molecular level, and got ghost powers. And everything after that pretty much consists of fighting ghosts, fighting my Dad's college roommate who also got ghost powers, and turning the Earth intangible to save it from a asteroid."

"Wow," Kara says. "It's...really good to have you onboard." A beat. "At least now we know why Brainy doesn't know what normal is. Weirdness is normal for him."

"You're both younger than I am." He knows that from scanning them. "When your superhero career spans multiple planets, and carries across nearly six years of your life, you'll find it somewhat difficult to summarize concisely."

"It's okay Brainy," Kara said. She reached up and smoothed down a wayward lock of his hair tenderly. She smiled at him impishly. "You'll have your moment to babble on again soon."

He doesn't shrug away from her hand. He doesn't want to.

"Hmph. You two might babble. I pontificate. There's a distinct difference, and usually it's in the vocabulary."

He's smirking.
