Re: The Vestibule
"Now there's using your noggin'!" Myself shouted out encouragingly. "Now if only those boards were made out of ADAMANTIUM... Then we'd really be set up good!"
Figuring the new blockade on the door would be enough to hold it better for now, Deadpool backed away from it and went back to the windows. There were only a few boards left on the window on the right now, the one Wade had been paying the most attention to. Zombies were already sticking their heads in past the boards, trying their darndest to squeeze through.
"Nope, not you!" Deadpool proclaimed to one staring at him, and shot it in the head. Looks like that one wasn't a winner either. With all the energy and bullets whizzing by out the windows, neither me or Myself were sure ANY zombies were going to make it through. "Well, it'll have to get interesting EVENTUALLY..." he mumbled to himself, although a Deadpool-mumble is closer to a yell then a whisper. He took several steps back and relaxed his stance, waiting to see if there would be any zombies to get through he could shoot. Wasting all these bullets on outside zombies was like killing people blindfolded- wait, no, bad example, that's actually LOADS of fun.
Re: The Vestibule
"I need four people upstairs now! There are already rocket launchers and gatling guns set up by the front windows. Just grab one and lay into this crowd.
"Kenobi, Kaplan, can either of you set up a force outside of the doors; block off the whole front?"
Re: The Vestibule
"Ronon and Marcus are already on their way upstairs," Sam says as he comes charging into the vestibule, armed with a pistol-gripped shotgun and a pair of .38's in his suit's holsters. Worf is likely coming up right behind him, so it was pretty obvious he didn't just escape.
"Where do ya need me?" he asked Leon.
Re: The Vestibule
Re: The Vestibule
He growls at Leon and then goes back to the task at hand.
Re: The Vestibule
He wanted to give the order to fall back— if he'd been in charge...but no. General Kenobi had been demoted. Still, he'd do what he could, for now. Letting this go as things stood would kill everyone here in a flood of undead. Who's the more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?
Re: The Vestibule
Of course, he's not asleep. He's scared. He's already fought through one apocalypse since he was last on Earth. He wants to go home. More than anything he wants to be home, with Aunt May and MJ.
He wants to be with Gwen. If only she were still there to return to.
Re: The Vestibule
"I can push them away from the doors if I can find a way outside. It is not the first time I hath been in a hoard of zombies that thick and I can avoid getting bitten," Pirogoeth said, nothing about her voice or stance showing any signs of fear.
She stopped being afraid after she saw the first of her people die. And she knew an order to fall back would do little. Zombies didn't stop until they were dead. "And if he wants excitement, he can come with me," she said, gesturing to Deadpool. "I will, of course, incinerate him if he turns should he accompany me." Pretty blunt about that too.

Re: The Vestibule
Worf, really, wtf?but what's done is done. "I don't need you," he responded to Sam. "Go see Kirk."And on to important business. "Kenobi, just keep on the door. Kaplan, just give me a wall across the front." He had to take a second, but only that much to consider Pirogoeth's offer. "They're all crowding the front, take one of the side windows. Wilson, Hellstrom, go with her, but get your asses back in here if you attract too much attention."
Re: The Vestibule
Well, he was a bunch of dark magic. She used fire, but she was over in the light spectrum.
And after she said that, she headed for a window to get outside, drawing her sword. The gun would remain holstered until magic became too slow.
Re: The Vestibule
Re: The Vestibule
"Yeah, sure you don't," Sam remarked under his breath at Leon. He then aimed his shotgun at a hole that the zombies had clawed through one of the doors and fired three rounds through it, killing or knocking back the zombies attempting to grab at people before throwing his weight against it to keep it from bursting open.
He didn't know how long Obi-Wan would be able to hold it closed and he had no intention of leaving it unbraced if the Jedi weakened. They had to buy time for the others to get out their and do their thing.
Re: The Vestibule
"Look, you dumbass, you haven't talked to Kirk, that means you don't know what the hell is going on with the rest of the building. I don't either. Go. See. Kirk. You ignorant, selfish stupid piece of shit. Make sure the rest of the building is secure, because if we get a breach from the side it won't matter if we hold the front!"
Leon smacked Sam upside the head again making sure it sunk through.
"Now Go!"
God damn that kid was fucking stupid.
Re: The Vestibule
"Dude! #&*@ OFF!!" Sam shouted at him. Leon seriously wanted to smack him around NOW?!? When there was a massive army of zombies breaking through the doors and they needed to buy time for Pirogoeth, Kaplan and Wilson to get outside and do their thing?
"You wanna compare dick sizes, we'll do it later," he added, pulling one of the .38s out of his holster with his free hand and firing through the hole at another zombie.
Re: The Vestibule
"You are part of the defense now. Which means you obey orders. If you do not wish to do that, I can always put you back in handcuffs, if you prefer."
Re: The Vestibule
((OOC: For those who want to follow.))
Re: The Vestibule
"I've seen how the line looks, you're going to need everybody you can get. I'll get word to Commander Kirk." He then shot back into the air again.
Re: The Vestibule
"Fine, you don't want my help?" Sam said, shoving off the cracking door--pausing to point his gun at the hole and shoot the zombie trying to crawl through the hole.
"Then I'll find someone who does," he finished and started back into the basilica proper, heading for the medical area to see if they needed help with first aid.
Re: The Vestibule
Re: The Vestibule
Cale didn't get a chance to finish. The hole next to him split even wider and an army of undead hands wrapped around him and jerked him through, pulling the teenager out of the basilica and onto the front steps, surrounded by flesh-eating zombies.
Re: The Vestibule
Re: The Vestibule
"Is that... good enough.. Mr. Kennedy?" He was panting and leaned against the nearest wall, his head tilting to look out the window at the force field.
Re: The Vestibule
He continued to call out for help as the zombies lowered him to the ground, pinning him down. And the smell of rancid breath assaulted his nostrils just seconds before the first zombie took a bite into his shoulder, sinking it's blood-stained teeth down into his flesh until it finally came away with a chunk of meat. Another started in on thigh, a third on his arm, while two more attacked his torso. By the time his left arm had been completely torn off, Cale had gone into shock and passed out, he's cries for help silenced.
