Get you Gone

The meeting is over, the teams have been assigned, the plans have been laid out. It's time to get weapons.

It's time to wish each other luck, and say goodbyes--with the hope that they're only "good bye for now"s.

It's about to get very hairy from here on out.

"Is that how it is?" Katara said, returning the grin. "Well, I guess that explains why I'm constantly doing dangerous things in my world. I really can;t be bored for that long."

Katara nodded. "I understand. You're a bartender. You don't have a place with a skirmish like ours. Still..." Katara's voice trailed off. "It's still going to be dangerous for you guys, You'll take good care not to get hurt, won't you?"

"Well, as long as you know what you're doing, nothing too wrong with that," Selene commented.

Selene grinned. "Now, don't worry about me. We just MIGHT be attacked. You're pretty much guaranteed. You just worry about yourself and if something happens, I'll take care of myself. I always manage to get out unscathed," she said.

"What I don't know how to do, I'll simply have to play by ear," Katara saud. "But I think I have enough knowledge to say that I can do that without making too much of a mess of things."

Katara nodded. "Yeah. I'm not going to make a speech about what if I die, because I don't think we'll fail. I just think we'll find something we won't expect. I just hope you guys will be okay."

Selene patted her shoulder. "Just like I don't believe you'll fail, i don't believe we will."
