Get you Gone

The meeting is over, the teams have been assigned, the plans have been laid out. It's time to get weapons.

It's time to wish each other luck, and say goodbyes--with the hope that they're only "good bye for now"s.

It's about to get very hairy from here on out.

Billy felt a dawning sense of dread. He'd assumed he would stay behind with the others as a backup if something happened to the first team, but orders were orders. After all this time, it still felt strange to be needed. At that thought, a familiar voice in his head chided him softly. It wasn't like a Power Ranger to be a coward.

Speaking of the Power Ranger thing, that's what has brought him to Leon just now.

"Mr. Kennedy? If it would be acceptable, I have a personal item I'd like to utilize on this mission. I carried it on our first mission but never had the need to activate it." Silly supers and their inability to say what they mean the first time around.

He's not a mind reader, Billy, and the list of personal items is too huge for him to memorize.

"It's referred to as a Power Morpher. It's a silver and black device slightly larger than an average adult human fist, with a gold coin set in the center. When activated, it instantly summons a suit of armor and forms it over the body of the user. There should be several in storage, but mine is the one with a Triceratops head engraved in the coin's surface."

Billy wondered for a moment afterward if that explanation made any logical sense. The name's the most important thing, right?

Judging from the subtle change in expression from Leon, it probably made virtually no sense to him. But he got all the relevant information.

Billy Cranston. Power Morpher. Nothing else he needs to know. Especially since he was able to locate the item easily enough.

"Looks like Stacy still has it, and you can pick it up from Weapons & Possessions in a few minutes."
